Morning ladies. Going to ask a tmi question, so please look away now if you don;t want to see.
Me and dh dtd this morning to try to encourage bubs eviction, and when i wiped up theres blood. Now i seem to think thats fine, but just need a bit of reassurance. It is ok isn't it?
yep.. could be bit of a show or from the cervix.. or it might not even be your blood it might be his!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I imagine all is ok JoJo but maybe give midwife/labour ward a call to be on safe side? Never know you might get another sweep out of it lol.
I had to go in yest as bubs hadnt moved all day, turns out naughty baby is back to back and I have lots of water, whoop!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

It's definitely mine, don't think it was a show as it was thin bright blood, just wiped a blood clot now.
it'll most likely be from the cervix the lood supply increases hugely in pregnancy and the small capillaries are prone to bursting with pressure. if it is clotting it isn't much as it is pooling before being expelled.. i'd not be in the least concerned..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Princess_Coupon wrote: »Me too I gained 5.5 stone with DD I started a bit underweight and a size 6 straight after the birth I was a size 16, after 6 weeks of BF I was a size 14, I then dieted down to a 12 by loosing a stone. I lost a total of 2.5 stone since the birth and wanted to loose another 2 but then got pg again, my scales are out of batteries and I haven't replaced them
but I estimate I am the same weight as I was at this stage the last time
At 35 this time can I shift it?
I hope so, I'm 39 and fully intending to.
Wow size 6 to size 16, that must have been dramatic. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hi All,
Labour vibes to those that need them (and evil eviction vibes to those that are being kept waiting by bubs)
OH and I have decided (welllllll, i have lol) that we need to start our list of things we need - que mad panic from me and lots of questions over the coming days lol.
JOJO could you please change my EDD to 11/09/11Hope Bubs arrives soon for you!!!
BBM thanks for the update and i hope everything goest well for your little family!
On a side note, we bought my first maternity clothes yesterday, 2 pairs of jeans from M+P and they were 30% off so a bargain - justified with the thoughts that im 14 weeks so am hoping they will last me til the end
Im definately not glowing at the moment, i have a snotty cold and indegestion along with a lot of visits to the toilet and its all entertaining lol.
I am also a little scared about getting carried away and buying things - i really dont want to jinx us or anything but at the same time i want to be able to thing about buying things, roll on scan 2 so that we can relax some more!
Puzzled
P.s. is the FB group private or can everyone in your friends see it? Im not telling a lot of people until after 16 weeks becuase of work issues so am still in secret squirrel mode lol0 -
just checking back in..... had to hunt thro to see when BBM was due I KNEW it wasn't before me but couldn't remember exact date. That must have been a shock. Hoping baby and mummy are still doing well.
(sorry not been able to read anything else farrrr to many pages).
Well having itched incessently with an "allergy to being pregnant" since 6 weeks pg (now 33w) it all came to a head 2 weeks ago when I begged my midwife to refer me to the obs consultant as the skincare one would no longer do anything for me (other then keep me on same meds... too scared to up them).
went to see the consultant at the mat hospital last week who was really 'off' with me. she had me in floods of tears cause she wouldn't do anything.... wouldn't look to see the extent i was covered in rash didn't care i wasn't sleeping, didn't care i had to go back to work as my self-cert had run out, wouldn't look at my meds and hadn't even read the notes my skincare consultant had written up. (official complaint being written this week). told me to go away and go back beginning of april when they would make a decision to induce early or not but as baby wasn't distressed tough. she ran blood tests (the same ones i've been having all this time).
I rang my midwife again in tears (from work) explaining all this and she instructed me to go and get a sicknote and get signed off. The dr signed it no questions asked as he could see instantly how stressed I was.
Get a phone call on thursday am from midwife at mat hospital.... they think i have Obstetric cholestasis, but it's still not showing up completly on the tests. However they have put me on the appropriate meds to try and control it if it is.
Have therefore spent the last week sorting out the nursery/ clothes/house and gonna get bags packed in the next couple of days 'just incase'.
Back to see mat hospital this Thursday to discuss it and future moves (fingers crossed for a 37 week induction I can't take this much longer).
sorry long post but I thought I'd update as soo many midwifes (mine included) are under the impression you cannot get this until 30+ weeks.... guess I proved em wrong (as do others if you do a google search). so if you are excessivly itchy FORCE your dr/ midwife to run tests to help you. (feel free to PM me if you want to know what I've been taking etc).
hope everyones doing ok.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi Chickywiggle nice to see you. I was thinking about you as were due around the same time and I remembered the itching you were having. If sounds awful and what terrible treatment your getting!
Hope you get your early induction, welldone for putting up with it this long.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Good afternoon
Chickywiggle - gosh it seems like you have had a battle and a half! Fingers crossed you get something that helps you soon, if possible, and that you get a 37 week induction.
JoJo - Maybe call your MW if you're concerned about the bleeding?
Supermaiden I nearly went with the Jane Slalom Reverse, due to the off roading - but in the end went with the iCandy Apple Jogger:

Not much going on here - bouncing on my ball and drinking RLT! Out for a carvery later which I'm sure will be yummy
I've gotten used to the comments now about baby must be due very soon etc etc etc, but DH admitted yesterday that he is fed up with people saying to him "everything's going to change", "he needs to get as much sleep in now as poss" etc etc etc :rotfl:
Labour vibes to the boldies0
