Ha ha. Wendz, I used to do nights and remember so very well DH trying to get me to get up when all I wanted to do was carry on sleeping!!!
    Good luck!!!!!!

  • Afternoo all! Hope all the bumps are beig good today-mine isn't lol Had the WORST nights sleep ever last night-woke up about 2.30 and was reeeaaalllyyy itchy, then my hips were hurting when i tried to move, then i needed a wee, then bubs thought it was time to party lol was awake for aggeeesss, so even though i worked this mornig, i've not dot much since getting in-well apart from eat that is lol
And now i've got a dilemma-my friends cousin is selling her m +p pliko pramette (in polka dot if that makes a difference :rotfl:) with car seat, cosy toes, changing bag, parasol, isofix base and rain cover for £95 - i know it's been well looked after and has only been used for 1 baby, and the carseat has't been in an accident (i wouldn't get a 2nd hand car seat from someone i didn't kow) and BUT dh got me the hauck one from tesco when it was 49.99 in sept/oct so i don't NEED one...... BUT I would prefer a 'pram' style and a car seat with a isofix base-what do you ladies reckon???
I was thinking I could sell the hauck one on ebay, and i also have a m + p pliko that i've had since ds 2 was 18 months (he now 3 1/2) that i could sell and then it would be like i've just swapped???
Also I think I would be more likely to use it for longer as it's a 'stroller' style for when baby is bigger-and mamas and papas are good-dh is always impressed when i drag him in the shop lol

Reading that back I think i've made up my mind what i want to do, think i just want someone to tell me it's good idea :rotfl:

He is finally up two hours after he was meant to lol.

Madeness and mayhem - does sound like quite a bargain and if you can sell one or two of the others I think would be OK!;)

I agree with wends, sounds like a good deal for £95. I'd say go for it.

    Evening ladies,

Gosh - quiet on here today!

M&M - Definitely go with the pram! You could sell your Hauck on Ebay and use that money towards it.

Labour vibes to JoJo and DM11 - I sincerely hope you get some action soon!!

Had a lovely lunch in Clapham today and bought the cutest pink gingham summer dress for baby in Debenhams. Had a matching hat and everything :)

    This one: http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_221010404209_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7EKids%7EGirls+dresses

Came home, walked the dog with DH and dog decided to roll in something very fishy so have just had to bath him because he stunk! Now I'm exhausted - so a night in front of the box and early to bed methinks.

Many thanks for the laundry basket linkies. I'll see if DH wants to take me to Wilkos next week - such romance!
  • Hello everyone, a manic day and I really don't want to speak to anyone in RL, wonder if that's an early warning sign, or am I just a miserable bustard?!

  • Yes, but didn't have a clue. Contacted Unison and they were equally crap and basically said it depends what is in my contract. I'm getting to the point where I'm past caring. I have to put in my formal letter within the next week, and I think for ease I'll just start my maternity leave at 36 weeks so there is no arguing over pushing me onto maternity early due to sickness. I'll ask them then to confirm in writing what my options are for taking the 19 days annual leave I have accrued. See what they say, and take it from there.

Your union rep needs to take a copy of your contract to the next person up the union food chain and find out for you.

FairyS what a prince! Well done you:T

or am I just a miserable bustard?!

Ahhh, such a lovely turn of phrase :rotfl:

I wouldn't call you a miserable bustard at all! Maybe slightly hormonal and waiting for baby to drop :D
