I love Spring too... Not very sunny here yet though.

Waiting for 2 calls back on houses to see if landlord is OK with cats. Saw one house last night, majorly overpriced for what it was, then popped to see two others we had lined up to see today and Monday. They were not in very nice areas amongst other things. Had a detached bungalow lined up for Sunday, since Tuesday (landlord works in London). Got a call last night to say he had let it out to a friend in the end. Great.

STILL waiting to hear about the one we applied for. Apparently the landlord will have our applications over the weekend, so if we don't hear back by Monday I am going to be very f£cked off. It's been a week today we viewed and put an offer in.

So, the search continues... Hopefully they will allow cats... So frustrating this and really stressing me out. Oh and my hips hurt a lot. Hmmph.

ETA: well one has finally come back and said 'no' to pets. Even with higher deposit blah blah. As it's her first time as a landlord - arrrrgh for fcuks sake.

Digital - sorry to hear you are not having much luck with the house hunting, sounds like a nightmare. Fingers crossed for you that you find somewhere soon!

Just popped to shops and I was actually quite warm with my coat on! Picked up the bedding my sister bought us for baby, is gorgeous. We won't be able to use it till she is older but will be lovely when we do. Is a vintage rose print, which is all sort of flowery and patchwork.

DP - how many puddy cats do you have? could you, ahem, not mention them?;) I know its sneaky but they aren't as destructive as dogs (she said, watching her beloved collie shred her bed:D) x

I've just got two cats. They are mainly indoor, so they have been 'brought up' to be very well behaved. TBH they sleep most of the day as they are lazy s£ds! This is what makes it so infuriating! The times when they'd be most active - or likely to cause damage - they'd be outside in the garden!

They have two scratch posts, one of which cost £50 and is a massive thing which they love using. They never do anything - apart from get hair everywhere :D

I just wish people would give us a chance and not just write us off straight away because we have cats. We'd be more than willing to pay more deposit, and get all carpets fumigated or whatever after vacating.

I don't want the continual worry of not mentioning them. I'll have enough to worry about with the baby But it is tempting, I must admit.

Good news - the other place has rung back and said they are fine with cats :T So she is trying to get hold of the tenant now and arrange a viewing. Trouble is now there are 6 people wanting to look at it :mad::mad::mad: Why is life never easy? Bubs is going mad as he knows I am upset/stressed, and OH is annoyed because he is trying to do some work on his car and he has to take the whole front end off to replace a radiator and it is being a s3d. I am going out to join him as need to get out of the house for a bit. Going mad here

At least the sun is shining. Had a play with the piggies and that has cheered me up a bit, bless their little cottons :cool:

I had 12 hours worth of regular contractions last night from 11.30pm til sometime after 5.30am. They were between 10 and 12 mins apart, then after another couple of hours of sleep they had stopped. I give up with this child! Its probably a good thing though as oh has food poisoning, so wouldn't have made it to hosp with me if anything had happened. Ah well, 1 week til i get induced.

DueMarch, if you're lurking, just want to let you know i'm thinking of you. Hope RBG is ok too, and that she has her alien xx

Just popped on to see if there was any news from you lol.
Still nothing here, had sweep on Weds, lost my plug on Thurs AM, had some very intense non painful tightenings every 20 mins yesterday for a few hours but thats about it. Nothing else to report. Thought the baby might be waiting to come today as its my late dads birthday but have woken feeling completely normal so I highly doubt it.

Have got midwife on Tues for another sweep, although not sure what that will do if Ive already lost my plug, any idea? Then Im being induced on Thursday morning, gutted really as honestly thought this pg would be like last time but obv not lol.

I see there is news on fb, hope all is well.

Hey DM, I had lost my plug the thursday before i had my sweep on tuesday, but had another bloody show on the wednesday after the sweep. I have a lump of mucus every morning now too (sorry tmi).

I have midwife on wednesday for another sweep, but am hoping he comes before then. Its so frustrating isn't it? How can these gorgeous bundles that we've carried for 9 months keep us waiting?

Don't know what was wrong with my brain this morning when i typed my last post. It was 6 hours of contractions not 12 doh!!

Everything is crossed for you, lets hope we see some movement from our babies

Who's popped then? We need an update, and some pics pls....gotta be RBG hasn't it?

Congratulations fairy, he's just a little cutie!!!!!

Bad night for me last night. Feeling very uncomfy now and what with sore hips and struggling to turn over and a wriggly baby at night and DH having a cold so snoring ( weird noises) all night, I'm a little tired and fed up now.
Gonna try and do nothing today if I can. Made tons of stuff for freezer and have two large pots of soup on at present so as prepared as I can be as far as food is concerned.
Hubby packed a rucksack for himself for hospital last night and food and drink sorted out too.
Just need some movement now of the labour variety.
Tried curry last night, bouncing on my ball and a long walk during the day but nothing so far. Will need to inlist help from DH later!!! ;-)

I have just cleaned the kitchen a bit. Making my lunch now and will do the floors after that. Tried to wake OH up as he told me to at half 12 otherwise he won't sleep tonight but he is not being very responsive yet.
