    Evening everyone,

Im had a rubbish MW appointment earlie :(
Stand in MW was quite mean, she made me cry.

Im 31 weeks tomorrow, cant believe it!
I personally feel that just because I am pregnant, I am not going to resort to poop clothes, as that will make me feel even worse!

I agree, i bought a few maternity tops and a new pair of jeans when i found out i was pregnant again because all my clothes wouldn't of worked.

I always feel good when i wear my jeans and a good fitting top!

When i've had baby (and managed to fit back into normal jeans) im selling it all as a big bundle :)

Happy 38 weeks PC - Fingers crossed baby makes an appearance after Monday.

I'v had my hair sorted - top and bottom - so I'm all prepared for this baby now :D

I've been suggesting to him Tuesday ;)

I did the bottom end the other day DH had a quick look :o and says it looks good, bit sore though so I guess I over did it.

I'm just laughing to myself at all the ladies saying they are selling their mat clothes as they aren't having anymore, I bet pigpen has said that once or twice :rotfl:.

I hardly have any mat clothes at all, my mother the M&S sale addict has been buying me loads of reduced standard clothes in big sizes, they aren't ideal but as they are free I've been wearing them and have bought next to nothing.
My Mam said she had 1 mat skirt and that was it, her Mam made it for her, it was a wrap over style with about 8 press stud fastenings, every few weeks she just moved to the next one:rotfl:

Sorry that I haven't been on to update before now but life has been rather manic here as I'm sure sme of you will appreciate!

We had a little surprise on Friday 25th February as I went into premature labour 3 weeks 2 days early at 36w 5d. My waters went at 4.15am, we were kept in for monitoring and sent home again at 11.30am as I was only 1cm dilated. By 12.45 we were back again as my contractions were 2 minutes long and 3 minutes apart. I had gone frm 1cm to 5cm in about 45 minutes!

Once we went back it all went haywire, one minute we were walking in to the hospital and the next I was being wheeled all round from room to room.

I was in active labour for 2hrs 36mins and Jack William was born at 4.27pm weighing 6lbs. Unfortunately he had some problems with feeding, lost over 15% of his body weight and developed jaundice so were kept in hospital for a week but we came home on Friday and are now just adjusting to life with our new arrival.

    A few pictures for you

Thanks to BeckySleaf for keeping everyone updated while we were in hospital and can I just say thanks to everyone for the messages and well wishes they really mean a lot :)

Hope to keep up with everyone although I don't seem to have a moment to do anything at the moment as it's a constant stream of feeds and nappy changes ;)

Fairy, he is beautiful and what a gorgeous head of hair. Me and dh are quite jealous as we know ours won't have any.

Still no changes from me, and really fed up now :(

Went to Mothercare earlier, got a gorgeous outfit reduced from 27.50 to 7.50 and a baby gym reduced to £25, this one

so that cheered me up for an hour, then i went to my sons school assembly (where i worked) and got all the "oh, you've not popped yet", which bought me right back down again.

    Evening all,
Doglover – my babys heartbeat has been 145 and is a girl so i wouldn’t believe everything midwife says hehe.
Hope everything is OK with babyboysmummy – thinking if you and Alfred x
Talking about bump sizes , some people say I’m big and others small so who knows! I measured just under average yesterday at appointment.
Welcome little angel and good news on the results.
Mrsspendalot – how annoying, hope you don’t suffer too much you poor thing.
EA – what did the midwife do? Doesn’t sounds very nice!
Fairy – he is gorgeous, glad you are all home together
I now only have 3 weeks left at work yay. Got a 3 day weekend as well as taking Monday off.
I think I am finally reaching that tired stage now but may be due to the fact I was awake at half 5 in pain.
  • Glad your home FairyS, well he's got his Mam's lovely thick dark hair, and how glam do you look post birth I looked like poop for at least a fortnight after DD
