Aw thanks Girls, nice to know I am still welcome evern though I am not preggers anymore :)

S is my first baby and I am finding it so much harder than I ever thought I would be, but thankfully this week seems to be getting a bit easier.
Re my maternity clothes, they are bugging me sitting in the drawer and I know that I probs wont be wearing them again so makes more sense to sell them and get some extra pocket money for me to buy new things.lol. :) I've been lucky that I managed to fit back into my pre pregnancy jeans/tops within a week of S being born, which really surprised me, just need to tone my tummy up now and get these black bags under my eyes away then I will be back to normal.lol.

Its my birthday on Tuesday the big 25.lol. Dont think we willl be doing much but I am really looking forward to getting my "Mum" birthday card.lol. the small things.

Sammy - have you tried the Instore or Au Naturale for the wicker basket??? I bought mine from Au Naturale and its quite big and white too.HTH

I have been huge early on with all my pregnancies.. I am in maternity clothes already at about 9 weeks (though I could be 13 weeks.. but unlikely) I was about 5 weeks with DD3! I have never got to 12 weeks without being in maternity stuff .. I seem to get massive until about 6 months and then not get much bigger.

I'd LOVE to be one of those people who can wear proper clothes until 7 months... I hate maternity stuff it is frumpy and ugly.

Wow, "all your pregnancies"...how many have you had? sounds like lots! My pregnancy wardrobe is amazing and most of it inherited from my BFF who had a baby last year. Some are Mothercare, Mamas & Papas and New Look. I've topped it off with New Look and M&P and some DP and can safely say I look amazing and have never felt better. The only item I didn't like was her Isabella Oliver dress as it wasn't really me. Everybody comments at work how glowing I look as my skin is flawless, my hair shiny and I actually wear dresses (strictly a trouser girl til now) which accentuate bump.
I suppose it helps I've only put less than a stone on at 32 weeks and bump is all baby and very little water.

I wish all you ladies had as good a time as I have. I've not even needed too many "extra" sleeps. There's another yummy mummy who works for me and she worked right up to due date, moved house on the actual day of birth and went through both labours with no pain relief. She keeps me on-track if I moan or wimper with "you're pregnant not ill, get on with it" A reality check is good sometimes!

Special hugs to BBM. I feel like I've been with you the whole journey. I'm glad Alfred has made it this far and hope he goes on leaps and bounds and that you get to spend more time with him soon x

Trouble is, I'm enjoying being pregnant so much I could easily delay giving birth over it. 59 days to due date!

Thanks LL - Yes Mr Sharkey is still home and will be now for the foreseeable future :) Sofia is a really bad nightime sleeper so I just wouldnt be able to cope with it on my own. He was going to go back over to Kuwait when she was about a month old (which is next week) but he has decided not to go, plus the troubles over in the Middle East was really worrying me, so all in all things are good on that front. Yay to the mothers day card - I have actually been hinting to Mr Sharkey about it.lol.
I am not really sure how much weight I put on tbh with you. I was still in size 12 Maternity jeans just before Sofia was born and I can now get into size 10 tops and size 12 jeans - which is exactly what I was before I was pg. Maybe I should weigh myself............desicions, desicions.lol

I weigh 13st at the moment  I feel huge :(

I didn't pay any attention to what I weighed before so don't know how much I've put on, but I only ever got to 12st something at term before in my previous pregnancies.

lol fantafan. I'm the opposite but hey ho its a 9 month excuse to be lazy, eat lots and lounge round in pjs until 3pm ()

I've bought a couple of mat jeans and mat leggins cos I am guessing the 3 stone I have put on won't get shifted straight away, so I'll live in them once the sproglet is here:D

Aw thats great having the extra support, I dont blame him for not going to Kuwait, I would be ill with worry if my OH was in one of those countries. Im not sure if OH will have any time off with me after baby is born , he is self employed and taking any jobs going and we cant afford for him to turn work away. We will see.Ive got a mixed wardrobe of sizes so Il not be in tears trying to squash into size 8s when bubs is here. Fanta once I actually get into maternity wear I think Il feel a yummy mummy. Im at the stage where maternity stuff is falling down and normal stuff cant be shut properly etc.

I did bump bands Lablover. Just looked like I'd layered up and still wore tight things. Rub your tummy if you feel fat. Fat people don't try and make out they're pregnant whereas preggers ladies do :)

I personally feel that just because I am pregnant, I am not going to resort to poop clothes, as that will make me feel even worse! I haven't had an easy pregnancy, but wearing decent clothes has made me feel and look a lot better on the outside ;)

I was speaking to OH's mum about maternity clothes and she said basically the only options she had 30 odd years ago when she was pregnant, were horrible smocks! We are so lucky now that there are really nice maternity jeans, tops and dresses available. Even on a limited budget, you can get stuff on eBay. I have bought some tops on eBay which are great.
