A 3 hour round trip at the moment, but I think she said after he has passed 30 weeks they can look to move him to a special care unit closer to home. Can't even begin to imagine :(

That's awful :( Did you say she was almost 27 weeks when she had him, so she has another 3 weeks of the long distance? Aww, bless her. Hope they can move baby closer to home soon. The main thing is that he is OK though.

I'd LOVE to be one of those people who can wear proper clothes until 7 months... I hate maternity stuff it is frumpy and ugly.

That's odd, none of my maternity stuff is frumpy or ugly :rotfl: I refuse to wear frumpy/gross clothes. I have a variety of jeans from Next and Asos, and none of them could you tell they are maternity jeans. They are just normal jeans with some elasticated bits around the waist. Also got some lovely t-shirts, and can still fit into my hoodies. I have spent a bit of money on my maternity wardrobe, and bought mostly new, but I have been wearing it since about 15-16 weeks so it's had plenty of wear. Plus I'll keep them and wear them again if I have another. Then they will go on eBay :money:

I'm the same digital - I've spent a bit so far on my maternity wardrobe ;) - I just like buying clothes I think :o
I am contemplating buying a top from Boden as they've just launched a maternity range but they are really pricey - however Boden hold their price well on ebay - all my stuff will be ebay bound afterwards as this is my last baby

He was 26+5 when she had him, he will be 28 weeks on Monday (I think). He has to be past the 30 week mark, but I don't think she knows how far past the 30wk mark he has to be to get a transfer. I know where I live any baby born before 36 weeks would have to be transferred elsewhere as our hospital don't have the facilities for younger premmies.

i dont think my stuff is frumpy either. Im still wearing a lot of non maternity tops but they are starting to get too short. you cant see my belly but I can feel a draught.
I didnt want to buy too much as this is my last. ive got a few nice tops from Next and trendy boyfriend jeans from M&P. I didnt get on with over the bump jeans. they were comfy in the beginning but just fall down now.
I spend a lot of time in maternity leggings from new look and jumper dresses.
But im getting so big now i dont want to wear the dresses too much longer as i look like Homer Simpson in his muumuu! :rotfl:

I have been huge early on with all my pregnancies.. I am in maternity clothes already at about 9 weeks (though I could be 13 weeks.. but unlikely) I was about 5 weeks with DD3! I have never got to 12 weeks without being in maternity stuff .. I seem to get massive until about 6 months and then not get much bigger.

I'd LOVE to be one of those people who can wear proper clothes until 7 months... I hate maternity stuff it is frumpy and ugly.

Depends where you buy it from I guess! Some of the stuff I've seen looks lovely; not frumpy at all.

    xDx
