She is feeling very upset about having to leave little Alfred in hospital so far away from home, so let's continue to think of them both at what must be a really difficult time. I've seen some photos of the little fighter and he is tiny but perfect.
How far is the hospital? That must be really hard for her.
More prayers needed. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

A 3 hour round trip at the moment, but I think she said after he has passed 30 weeks they can look to move him to a special care unit closer to home. Can't even begin to imagineOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Just reading about bumps earlier on in the thread .... I've had a proper bump since about 12 weeks and have been in maternity clothes all that time too
I look like I have a few weeks left to go, and everyone looks horrified when I tell them I'm not due until July  I dread to think how big I'll be by then. I feel very full, like the baby has taken up all the room inside there that he possibly can. Very uncomfortable. Keep getting asked if it's twins
Massive difference from last pregnancy when I could still get in normal jeans at 20 weeks
Heartburn is still bad. SPD is getting worse. Still no physio appointment through yet. Can't see me going back to work at all now. 24 weeks tomorrow which is a nice milestone to pass.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I have been huge early on with all my pregnancies.. I am in maternity clothes already at about 9 weeks (though I could be 13 weeks.. but unlikely) I was about 5 weeks with DD3! I have never got to 12 weeks without being in maternity stuff .. I seem to get massive until about 6 months and then not get much bigger.
I'd LOVE to be one of those people who can wear proper clothes until 7 months... I hate maternity stuff it is frumpy and ugly.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I know what you mean - that said I'm finding maternity clobber this time around a bit better.
I'm sure that under the bump jeans weren't widely available when I had my two - all the trousers came to just under the boobs and I don't remember any bump bands which seem to be a solution so you can wear some of your normal tops (if you don't mind stretching them with your boobs)
Slight improvements - but as you say would rather be in my normal clothes.0
