I dont mind the taste too much either. i have one cup then 1 tablet. I like my normal tea too much to have just herbal tea. Both were given to me so I may as well use both.
How many mg are your calcium? I looked in Tesco and they were 400mg per tablet. They were £2 odd. ive never bothered before but if they were cheap in Tesco I was going to give them a bash. Im not sure whether to get the 400mg ones and take 2?

The ones I got are 500mg and chewable. They taste quite nice, a bit coconutty. It says to take 1000mg a day from 32 weeks, so will take 2 a day. Nice and simple, just like I like it!

Bubs is kicking up a storm, think he appreciated the chocolate milkshake I've just drunk.

Had a go at packing hospital bags earlier, and glad I have started early. Will add some jeans to the bag at a later point as I wear them all now, another nightie so I have 3, toiletries and maybe a spare t-shirt for OH. Need to get some big knickers still as well.
Bub's bag is packed, will wash everything a little closer to the time.
We want to take the rest of the baby stuff over to OH's parents house at the weekend to free up some space, so thought I may as well make a start on my bags, then I have everything here ready.

Better go and clear up the kitchen now... Then get in shower.

Pottered around today, wrapped up some pressies for the kids for when baby arrives, so they get some attention too (visitors tend to coo over baby and forget about them and i think its unfair).
Also reassembled the baby's crib and put the sheets/blankets on. Thats about it really.
Don't you hate it, when you wait in all day for a delivery, it gets to this time and its still not arrived!! It had better come as i want to go out tomorrow, need to keep myself occupied or i'm gonna go stir crazy.
Going out for tea tonight, figured it could be a while before we all get to go out again :)

Just back from 34 week appointment. All went well, her head is down and at brim but she said she could still move it around. Hopefully she will stay down. Next appointment I have to decide whether i want to use the midwife led unit or the hospital part. I am leaning towards the midwife led bit but we will get to have a look on Sunday. All getting very exciting!

Jojo- that is a good idea getting the other kids presents, don't want them to feel left out!

Sending loads of love to Babyboysmummy and baby Alfred x

I did watch that progamme last night, and the first part was very upsetting, but overall it was an enlightening documentary.

Had a nice trip to Ikea today and got some more stuff for the baby's room.

I am also pleased to report that my RLT teabags came from H&B so no more drinking the loose tea. Although, looking at the packet from H&B, the teabags only contain 48% raspberry leaf and they have flavouring added - so lets still hope it works!

I've been getting some slight cramp pains in my belly - so it could be something or nothing. Nothing else to report though.

    Hope everyone is well x

    It's so quiet...where is everyone!

Just been having a look at the birth plan page in my notes, the midwife said to take a copy to antenatal class on sunday and can make some notes.

    Aww bless Callam SJP!

I'm just too tired to post in the evenings now. My brain won't work. I'm trying to post during the day when I'm more energetic.

I'm thinking of going to bed now but I'll end up at 6am.

  • 38 weeks today - nothing to report, it's weird thinking he could be a bit early and I could have him in the next couple of days or I could go way over and have to wait 3/4 weeks, I would like to hang on till after Monday as I'm getting my highlights done :D So from Tuesday (which incidentally is my scan sweep and cervix assessment) I'll be after labour vibes.
Anyone heard anything from RBG? I'm desperate to find out.
