I just watched the 23 week thing on Iplayer. it was a real eyeopener. Im surprised though at the difference the one week makes. There seems to be so much less problems at 24 weeks.

GFH I plan to batch cook soon too. I didnt want to do it too early as we are using the freezer. But im 33 weeks today so will do it in 2 weeks maybe. I plan to make a lasagne, soup ,stew, mince, spag bol. Then stock up the cupboard with pasta, tuna and pesto for a quick meals. Tins of soup and the odd ready meal. And lots of tins of Campbells condensed soup. they make great pasta sauces.
My OH is perfectly capable of cooking but he will be back at work after only a week off, and with 3 kids i dont know where ill have time to cook. Mind you my DD is 5 and loves helping, I might start showing her a few more cooking tips lol. At least she can makes us a ham sandwich safely lol.

Babyboysmummy should be able to go home tomorrow, all being well. Little Alfred is back on the ventilator for some of the time because he is tiring. Please continue to think of and pray for BBM & Alfred, I know she is taking a lot of comfort from it.

I am thinking of BBM and baby Alfred. I remember her from the less than 12 weeks thread, and wish them both speedy recovery vibes. Alfred sounds like a fighter, can't wait for a piccie of the little guy x

Had my first cup of RLT today, and it was OK. Just raspberry herbal tea. May get very tiresome the more I have to drink a day though! Think I'll be OK with two, but after that I'll have to get the tablets!

Very impressed with H&B, my delivery got here very quickly. I only ordered it Tuesday evening. And I got 10% cashback which almost paid for my calcium.

    Morning (just),
Duemarch, I hope it happens soon for you sweetie. Kinda getting a bit restless myself.
Jojo, you too on the labour vibes.
Rgb, think you are still in need , although it's been very quite from her so perhaps we will have another birth announcement today???

Grateful, I have been stocking the (new -refurbished-cheap) freezer for a few weeks. Just making larger portions of things like soup, chilli, curry, stew etc and putting extra in freezer as DH won't want to cook and his skills are a little limited!!! In fact, I should be making lentil soup now and was going to bake some scones to freeze. Sunning myself at the moment though so perhaps I'll get some energy to move soon!!! Lol

Had a few crampy pains last night in bed and babes was engaged I think as it was a lot easier to turn over. Then he popped out. Oucha, was it sore!!! Then spent ages wriggling about trying to get the head back into my pelvis!!! Not at all fun. Ended up getting up and walking about the house to settle baby.
Fortunately, I went back to bed for a few more hours. Nothing this morning though. Guess they might have been these BH I hear so much about!!!!!

I dont mind the taste too much either. i have one cup then 1 tablet. I like my normal tea too much to have just herbal tea. Both were given to me so I may as well use both.
How many mg are your calcium? I looked in Tesco and they were 400mg per tablet. They were £2 odd. ive never bothered before but if they were cheap in Tesco I was going to give them a bash. Im not sure whether to get the 400mg ones and take 2?

I meant to add that Tesco have a big pile of tubs for £6. Thats not much use as I cant remember how many there was lol. Ill need to buy more for freezing though so if I get them ill post a link.

Good idea on freezing scones etc Fiona. ideal for guests. I might make some healthy muffins so the kids can have a treat when I definently wont feel like baking.

Hugs to BBM and baby Alfred

I am wondering at what point does the baby start raising their hand/foot up to your ribs? I had the most awful pain yesterday but not sure if it would be this or just something I had done lol. Had to loosen my work trousers too as they seem tighter than when I had them on just under 2 weeks ago so I must have got a little bigger! they go way up under my bust lol they look great.. not :rotfl:

Husband still cant feel baby kick, I dont know when it becomes stronger so others can feel it. I feel he is wasting his time putting his hand on my belly when he cant feel it but at least I can tell him its kicking him even if its not strong enough for him to feel yet :p

Ive worked out my holidays and maternity leave, now just to sort it with HR today. I will be finishing at the end of April as I can put all my holidays in for before maternity leave so that is great. Not sure how they will take my wanting the full 52 weeks leave but I have to think about me and baby and not what work thinks of it lol Im sure Im not the first person to do it.

Also, scan next week, its getting closer. I cant wait!:j
