Morning ladies

Looks like quite a few of us had a rough night last night - chin up it's nearly the weekend.

I've got a childfree weekend as my 2 are off to their dad's after school so OH and I are going to have a relaxing weekend (somehow!)

Re the feeling fat you can't win on this one, I have a huge bump at 24 weeks but got on the scales this morning to have a peak at how much weight I'd gained and I am up to 11lb now - am consoling myself as it all seems to be on the bump so far and am still wearing my size 6 maternity jeans - I want to get some bump bands at the weekend as am running out of tops to wear as they are all too short.

So even with a big bump - I still feel fat!

Most people are surprised when I say I've got till June so think I must look massive - ho hum only another 14 weeks to go :eek:

Morning ladies

Sending best wishes to BBM and baby Alfred.

Gorgeous day in Manchester today, I'm eating out again tonight (3rd night running) with a friend who I prob won't see again til after bubs is born - scary!

Baby is very restless and I'm praying that he stays put til after i've had my hair done on the 19th. One week left in work, I wish I hadn't agreed to work upto 38 weeks - next week will dddrrrraaagggggg.

I'm 37 weeks today :j

I dont want to burst anyones bubble but il be 24 weeks on Monday and I still just look fat, lol. Feel like my thighs are getting huge and so is my backside :(More snow here again and more forecast for tonight , oh the joys. Getting my hair highlighted 2moro , cant wait ,it looks awful, feel like a slummy mummy to be. Then the zoo on Sunday , not sure Im looking forward to it anymore, it will be freezing cold and wet and all the animals will have hidden, not sure how to explain this to a three year old , lol He only really wants to see the penguins and they will be out whatever the weather but the rest of the animals will all be tucked up hidding. Hope we hear from RBG today

Hugs x I hate that! - peeps who keep telling you how big you are - I'm normally very slim so it probably looks worse on me but I find it really rude and and annoying.

One lady I used to work with kept telling me how massive I was on a regular basis when I was pg with DS (I swelled up everywhere in the last trimester and couldn't get my feet in proper shoes :eek:)

In the end I got so fed up I just replied with - yes you look like you've put on a bit yourself (she wasn't pregnant) - her face - felt a bit mean but shut her up for the rest of the pregnancy

I want to get my hair coloured too but am scared it's going to go wrong - think I am going to have to bite the bullet though as can't stand it any longer!

Hope it's not too grim at the zoo - I recall going to Monkey world in bad weather with the kids when they were tiny and none of the monkeys would come out and play (can't say I blamed them it was freezing) - I recall we spent a long time in the cafe and the gift shop - cost me a fortune :eek:

Gbaby Ive had flash backs of a school trip in the rain and not one animal being visible. Cant say I was that interested in bark and trees .... and the gift shop is just shocking. You cant even get a pencil for less than a £1.

Babyboysmummy is going home today so I'm sure she'll be on here herself before long to say thank you to you all for your wishes and prayers. She is feeling very upset about having to leave little Alfred in hospital so far away from home, so let's continue to think of them both at what must be a really difficult time. I've seen some photos of the little fighter and he is tiny but perfect.

2nd Trimester Ladies - I realy wouldn't worry about looking fat vs looking pregnant. Its just that inbetween stage. The good news is that your babies are growing nicely, and before you know it you'll have a lovely baby bump and you won't care how much weight you've put on

Lovely sunny day here today so I'm hoping to get all my washing done and hung out on the line.

Happy Full Term Dusty :j - I cannot believe you are working up til 38 weeks!!

Happy 38 weeks PC - Fingers crossed baby makes an appearance after Monday.

I'v had my hair sorted - top and bottom - so I'm all prepared for this baby now
