Wonderful her wee teeny tiny boy is doing well .. hopefully he will be home very soon where he belongs and with no lasting effects. We will all be thinking of her and have little Alfred in our prayers.

Wow I'm sure that was a shock for babyboysmummy. Please pass on my congratulations and best wishes to her - Alfred is a beautiful name too and I'll be keeping him in my thoughts.

Babyboysmummy has asked me to post on her behalf that she had her baby very early. Her last post was about braxton hicks contractions, which turned out to be premature labour. She had a rough week whilst they tried to stop the labour, but in the end her baby boy, Alfred, was born 5th March by emergency c-section (I think it was about 11.45pm that night). He came along at a tender 26+5 weeks, weighing a tiny 1.02kg.

Mum is recovering in hospital from her section, and little baby Alfred is a fighter and despite his tiny size and weeks, he is off ventilation and oxygen and breathing on his own.

I'm sure that all your thoughts and well-wishes will be much appreciated at this time for both mum and baby.

I am in touch with Babyboysmummy through another channel to here and have known her a few years, so will keep you up to date as and when there is any news to share.

Keep getting contractions/braxton hicks. They are pretty regular and uncomfortable, but after 1-2 hours, they stop for a while. Ah well, its just a waiting game:(
