Congratulations Tickle and good luck SpagMon!!!!!!!!!
Up early today as joiners were due at 8am. Typical then that at 9.20 there is no sign of them. Sigh.
Wouldn't mind so much but sleep is evading me at the moment so struggling and had to drag myself out of bed. Grrrrr:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
Good Morning Ladies
GFH - She is gorgeous!! Such a cutieHow old is she now? How's the house training going?!
Hngrymummy- What a handsome boy! I hope evrything is going well.
Spaghetti - Hope you are in established labour nowFingers crossed yo get your mummy cuddles soon.
Forgot to say yesterday, nice to see Fuzz - and good to see things are going well with baby.
I'm 36 weeks today (:j) and my MW hasn't discussed my birth plan at all! I will definitely be going with the flow then!
Good news from me is that I had my MW appt last night, and baby is no longer breech :T She is head down, sitting nicely. I measured spot on and heartbeat was nice and strong. I go back in 2 weeks when I'm 38 weeks. I was a bit peeved, as she is always running late, and my appt was late enough as it is - 6.15pm, and I didn't get seen til 7pm. And then she just rushed me, so I can't have been in there for more than 5 minutesOh well, not much longer to go I suppose.
Oh, and today is my last day at work :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Morning ladies!
How is everyone today? I'm a bit sickly and feeling dizzy, think it's my low blood pressure and lack of a good nights sleep! No matter what I do I can't seem to get comfortable, and when I do manage to get go to sleep the baby decides it's time to start having a party in my belly! Plus there's the constant trips to the loo- grrr! Ok, mini rant over now...
I'm surprised your midwife isn't more accomodating ema_o, you would think that as you're nearing the end of your pregnancy they would want to keep an eye on you. I'm going for my 34 week appointment tomorrow (even though I'll actually be 35 weeks) and my midwife has been great, she usually only sees women on a wednesday but as that's a bad day for me work wise she has no problem seeing me on mondays and thursdays.
I think we'll be going through my birth plan at tomorrow's appointment, I haven't really got a set plan, just a few ideas like definitely wanting an epidural (I'm not compromising on that!!!!) and definitely NOT wanting forceps (I think I've read too many stories of things going wrong) but apart from that I just want to go with the flow. They can do whatever they want to me to make sure the baby comes out healthy. Is that a pretty crap birth plan?!0 -
Hiya Ema,
Can you make the next appointment whilst you are in for the previous one? ie, when you do get in for you "34" week, make the 37 week then? that's what they do here so you know you are booked in and when.
Pretty pants that they are so unaccomodating!!!!
Thats what I normally do, but she had nothing except in the middle of the day, as work is an hours drive away that isn't really an option. I wish I'd asked to book the following one then tho, as I suspect that will be booked up now by everyone seeing her yesterday!
Sigh, I will give her a call and see what I can do. There's only one midwife at my surgery (sometimes get a different one, but there is only one set of appointments for the midwife). Just annoying that i prob need the appointments more towards the end, and it's now that they can't fit me in!!0 -
Morning ladies. Have a nice day off today and have midwife later on for 32 week appointment, even though I am not 32 weeks till tomorrow!
Hope everyone is ok and labour vibes and pushing vibes to spaghetti x x xBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

Good news all round, then. Don't worry about birth plan, so long as you have primed your DH to ensure they discuss with you and keep you informed.
Sorry what were you saying about toilet training? Just clearing up a wee in the kitchen:oPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Lol apricot I'm exactly the same. I've come into work, logged on and then spent the rest of the morning looking on the internet for nursing bras. Apparently primark stock them.
Still debating what to get - don't know if I need seperate sleep bras too?
Plus i think I need a couple of nightshirts - I'm just itching to spend money aren't I? Good job Primark don't do online shopping0
