  • Well that's you told Mrs Spendalot ;)

Good deal at Mr T's though - I have been guilty of stashing wipes in the past amongest other items - can always find a use for them even now mine are older.

Just popped in to say huge congrats for all the new babies :j
We've got the Tiny Love mobile out to check it over and I got all teary eyed over the Mozart music - DS and DD were very bemused by it especially when I told them that they both loved it as tiny babies.
Hope it cuts the mustard with the new little lady!

    Hello all,

I'm off to argos today to pick up a Body Pillow for £19.99 (reserved already) since sleeping is becoming more and more uncomfortable.
They do two at this price- I'm going for the Orthopaedic Body Pillow from the pillow section rather than the one in the maternity section of the catalogue because it looks like its better quality- proper pillow case etc but I'll let you know how it goes.

Finally half term is here:j:j:j:j:j.I've been so tired, went to bed at 5pm yesterday then got up at 9pm for a couple of hours with OH and chippy dinner (fish, chips mushy peas mini-dinner- although more than big enough to leave me happily stuffed) followed by True Blood on FX- I'm finding that programme more gory every week.

Only one half term to go then I finish for Easter holidays and maternity leave:D. Its nice the way it works out because I'll start my leave on the 3rd of May due to bank holiday on the Monday, but I finish on the 15th April due to Easter hols. Going to the spa for day with my 3 best girl friends on the 16th for a day of being spoilt- can't wait. :D:D:D:D.

Baby happily kicking me throughout the day and night- I love watching my belly move.:D:D:D:D

I brought this pillow from Argos a couple of weeks ago - it is as big as me and I can't get comfortable with it yet - I need to squish it down a bit and make it flatter I think!

  • Hey all, I'm still here, just about :-P

Congrats to all the new mummies, pics are always welcome. :)

25 weeks tomorrow! Can't decide whether time is flying past or not. :o

GB, I have the same problem with my body pillow. I don't think it helps that we have a memory foam mattress either, because I sink into that quite a bit too.

Baby is currently having a good wriggle and think she's doing the odd somersault too!
 Mummy to an amazing little girl
  • Congrats to the new mums! Don't think I'll be joining you just yet.....
Only things I'm feeling at the moment are 150% tired and knackered with an annoying headache and the odd twinge/period dull ache.

Almost got my washable nappies sorted. Just pre-washed them all and now they're dry, just put the inserts in and they're ready to go - which might be the only thing I'm up to today (and can be done sat on my beehind in front of the tele!)
  • Congrats on all the births over the last few days xx

I'm 24 weeks on Monday, I do think its dragging, but when I'm down to single figures I'll panic I'll run out of time to do things! May even count where I am on list now...or not!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

don't get too many.. these offers run very often.. and my daughter is almost 7 months and I have just opened my 4th pack of wipes (for the playtray on the bumbo lol)

There are more important things you could save your money for..

the bumbo and jumperoo are lifesavers..
sleeping bags.. once they learn to roll over these prevent them rolling onto their face in the cot .. for a while at least.
bath ducks.. encourage kicking and water play.
the extra 2 coats because 1 is simply not enough

Sorry for non-PG posting but Pigpen is totally right about the coats!

    Hello Ladies :)

Congratulations Honeypop - lovely name :)

Oooh, there is another baby announcement to be made - but it won't be from me!

Hi Teenie  How are you doing? Wow - 31 weeks - do you remember when you were moving down the list instead of up it :p:D I seriously cannot believe how quickly it's moving - scary stuff!

RE the body pillows - I kind of wish I'd got one now, but I'm 35+3 so might as well just wait it out til D day. There's barely enough room for DH in the bed at the mo with me stretching out so doubt he would appreciate a massive pillow!

DH has gone out partying in Canterbury for a mate's birthday and he's not back til tomorrow. Apparently it's his last night of freedom *roll eyes* - where's my last night of freedom???

I know I'm super lazy - but who posted that list that XmasLolly did about the RLT, arnica etc. I finally got my RLT teabags and arnica tablets today and need to check how and when to take them. Thank you :)

    Hope everyone is well x
