Congratulations Lauren, Honeypop and Salski :D

Argh it is so scary seeing your name go up that list, I must be in the top ten now I think.

Lovely scan picture Chopsie – our 20 week scan seems like so long ago now but I remember how magical it was. We are having a growth scan next week to check the size and it will be interesting to see how different it is to the 20 week one.

I need to get RLT tablets – I know I won’t be able to drink the tea as don’t do herbal teas so am going to get the tablets I think. Almost brought some on Friday but thought I might them cheaper online and have found there isn’t much difference in price so am going back on Monday to get them. Have already got my arnica tablets now I need to get some lavender oil for putting in the bath afterwards as it aids healing.

I think maybe i need to plan a long car journey, i just can't get motivated to finish doing my hosp bag, need to do birth plan too.

Am actually glad you haven't done yours either as I just haven't got the motivation to do mine either. Have had a sudden bout of tiredness and just can't seem to get anything done :( I have half done it but I know I really need to pull my finger out and finish it off.

Hi all just catching up... Congrats Honeypop, Lauren and Salski - hope you are enjoying the feeling of mummyness and lots of bonding and cuddles!

Chopsie love the scan pic! I know what you mean, I am mostly comfortable in jeans rather than a super girly girl, so if we have a little girl I will no doubt find all my girlie feelings appear... or hope they take after mummy ha ha... Hubby will then have to discover his sensitive side being the only male in the house...

Must check out bump bands, and more maternity clothes sites - apart from New Look and Debenhams are there any other sites you would all recommend?

    Congratulations Honeypop!

I had a good day at the babyshow. Got lots of freebies including a load of dummies, spoons, bibs etc.

Also I ordered my cot and mattress from mothercare as they had 10% off. Should be being delivered this week. :)

My Mum bought me some bits including some wipes, some towels with hoods and a blanket.

Best deal was the Avent bit where I got the electric breast pump for £55 (normally about £90) and it came with extras including washable pads, containers for milk and cream.

Was worth going to anyway but a bit tired from all the walking round.

Lol - I have no idea! Just look out for a bunch of drunk London lads! But that doesn't rule out much I'm sure lol. He'll probably phone me by 10pm saying he's tired and peaked too early *roll eyes*!!!! Hope you have fun :)

Wendz - Nice to see you had a good time at the baby show. I quite fancied going but can barely manage an hour round town at the moment!

Shazza - Come on lovie - get your bag done! What if bubs comes early? Does DH know where everything is?? I keep checking and rechecking my bag - I'm obsessed!!

After that post I went and put a few more things in the bag. Am going to finish it off tomorrow, I think most of the essentials are in there, have got to go down my list and then put babys things in there too.

I don't think it helps as we are only 3 minutes from the hospital so we know we don't have far to go when the time comes.

And no DH wouldn't have a clue - this has just confirmed to me I need to finish it tomorrow :p

I brought this pillow from Argos a couple of weeks ago - it is as big as me and I can't get comfortable with it yet - I need to squish it down a bit and make it flatter I think!
Got the pillow today its lovely and squidgy- can't wait til bed time;). So far I've had a normal pillow that I reposition every time I roll over but I've had lower back pain since about 12 weeks and now I'm 27 weeks I wake up every couple of hours with either my back or my hip or my belly hurting. :( My thinking is I can put the body pillow behind my back with the ordinary pillow between my knee/thighs. Leaning back against OH if he lies on his back is very comfortable but he usually sleeps on his side. I'm willing to try anything to get a bit more sleep to get me through the last couple of months of work. I'll let you know how it goes.;) From the reviews if anyone wants a flatter one that'll go under your bump, the one in the maternity section of the catalogue (or just called body pillow online) sounds like its thinner.
Also picked up Emma's Diary pack from argos while I was there- wasn't much in it to be honest, mostly junk mail.

Sounds just like mine :rotfl: Thats why I keep checking it. DH wouldn't know the difference between a bodysuit and a sleepsuit :o

Yay for nearly finishing the bag though :j
