Bit of a silly question but:

Do you know if your own baby is ugly?

I think you don't as they are yours and perfect to you but my friend thinks you would know.

yes.. DS3 looked like a dragonfly without wings.. he was sickly and pale looking and was icky.. you know!.. And if you don't, just ask me and I'll tell you lol

Welcome Puzzled (I will let someone with more technical know how update the list)!. Wow, sounds like you are getting very organised already - at 32 weeks OH and I are still to decide on names :D and its only since Christmas that I've been thinking about the birth (for me thats long enough!). It isn't for everyone, but I have found watching one born every minute has really helped me think about how I will feel at the time, and given me a few dos and don'ts for my birth plan.

Hi Puzzled - I agree with ema - so organised!!

I'm 33 weeks now and we haven't even got a shortlist of names yet. Mind you, last time, we only had one boys name we liked - and we have used it now!! So if we have another boy, not sure what we will do :D

Ema - not watched OBEM yet - didn't think I could face it - but saying it is giving you tips for your birth plan may make me rethink...

Jojo - don't know how you didn't end up in floods - the kiddies sound lovely!

Nearly there Evans :) Sounds like you had a very positive appointment - unlike Alfafa's MW who sounds like "positive" is not in her vocabulary!!:o I think many of us have had things that you have had, Alfafa - but nothing to worry about. Commenting on the size of your bump was a bit odd though, wasn't it?!!? Everyone is different shapes and sizes - surely as long as the baby's measurements are fine, the look of the bump doesn't matter??? Or is that just me!! :rotfl:

There is a park nearby but because of the SPD it's too far for me to walk and I'm not allowed to drive, but there's no way the kids could go alone at their age. It's so restricting :(

I also feel that I can't be seen out and about if someone gives me a lift etc because I'm signed off sick!

Sounds like you are in the wars... Good luck with physio - hope it helps you. Don't expect too much with the belt though - it may really help (and I hope it does!), but when I wore mine last time with DS, it helped the pelvis, but moved the pain to a different area of my back, so I stopped wearing it :D and didn't bother this time...

I'm lucky, I can still hobble about, but only have DS to manage - though difficult when he wants to be carried and I can't oblige!

I get others to come to my house - which gives me a break and a bit of a natter and DS loves playing with the other kiddies. Everything seems easier when you are not alone looking after the kiddies doesn't it :)

  • Thanks TitchD

Just think I'm generally having an 'off' day and everything seems 10 times worse. I'll probably feel loads more positive tomorrow. I'll try and get some friends to come round next week, even if just for a coffee.

Sounds like a plan :) Even half an hour with another adult about the place seems to spread the load, as it were!

SPD is SOOOOO frustrating, but hey - at least you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel :T It will all get better once little one arrives - you will get your body back! Bit squishier than previously, maybe, but no SPD - woo! :rotfl:

That's what I mean (not saying everyone is lying Im sure she is gorgeous) but noone is going to tell me if my baby is ugly are they?:rotfl:

My friend's midwife told her her baby was gorgeous. She then said "I don't say that to everyone, sometimes I have to just say That's a nice baby!!"
