  • Gorgeous pics MV - where are those PJs from? If this little one is a boy then he's having a pair. :D

    I weighed myself this morning - 12st 6 .
Means I have put on 2st 2lb since booking in and still have 6 weeks to go. Plus I'm going out for a curry tonight :o.

I am troughing like a mad thing though, I'm always hungry.

which reminds me - had our 3rd ante-natal class last night, had some oral health expert there telling us to how to keep our teeth healthy. she said 'now most women in the late stages of pregnancy get incredilbly hungry and so will reach for the biscuit tin'.
To which my OH at the top of his voice said 'not half she does'.

You know when someone is thinking something and they accidentally say it out loud? I was mortified with embarrassment, everyone started laughing, including me (tis true - I do love a biscuit) and I think he was embarrased that he'd spoken out loud.
Needless to say he got a comical telling off after for shouting out my love of a biscuit - bless him :rotfl:
    Men eh???

Love to all - anynews from janine, lauren yet?

Morning all - not much to report here except I tried to put on one of my nice jumpers for work but I had a distinct belly hanging out of the bottom - looks like I can put that one away for a few months now!

  • Ha ha, Apricot - there;s a whole raft of clothes sitting in my wardrobe that I wonder if I'll ever wear again.
Took me 20 mins to get my maternity tights on this morning, only to then see I'd put them on back to front and so had to start again. OH found it hilarious.

    I'm so over being fat!
  • Ladies - bit of advice please?

Not sure if i'm just overreacting but I got in the car this morning and actually heard a tearing sound from my lower back and the pain was so bad I actually yelped out in agony. It's not overly bad now as i'm sat down with my feet up but is this something I should be bothering the midwife with? Bubs is moving fine, I got some lucozade which sent him in a frenzy.

Just don't want to be an overly anxious pregnant woman. You know... one of 'them'

  • Charlie a phone call might help to reassure you, that is what midwives are for if you are worried - hope it feels better soon and is nothing serious!

Dusty enjoy the curry! Your hubbys comment made me laught - bet you turned a shade of crimson!

MV he is too cute, hope sleep came as you had hoped for!

Nic hope you feel better soon and get it checked out, it must bring you down so thinking of you.

Ticke your cat sounds funny, have been considering a pillow too, might just start with a normal one for support.

Apricot I'm getting to that stage - the jumper I have on tooday has a cute bulge that mostly I can notice... Want to check New Look for maternity clothes for some inspiration. So glad we're due in Summer so we can be less restricted clotthes wise...

Labour vibes to anyone who needs them! x

I ordered 2 maternity tops yesterday from the Next sale.
So far ive lived in longish tops and jumper dresses. But now all my favourite John Rocha tops are gaping. I didnt want to buy too many maternity clothes as this is my last baby, but I had to give in.
My mamas and papas maternity jeans are super comfey, but they are HUGE, so i need a belt which digs into my bump.

Im dreading those last 2 weeks when I just explode and have to wear my Oh's t shirts, he wont be pleased.
