  • No, you can try them before you go into labour... I've had mine on for a go.. It's a wierd sensation, not sure how it is going to help labour pains, but hey... worth a try ;)

Thanks, did you try it on your hand/arm or did you put them in the correct position? Just want to give it a 10 minute go to check it works :)

I got DH to stick it on my back... I figured it was unlikely to send me into premature labour having it there...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • How did this avo go Tickle????

Complete waste of time and money from my perspective. The physio went over everything they said last time, the theatre nurse told us what to expect (same as last time) and the anaesthetist just confirmed what the other one said 2 weeks ago! The only thing they did that I could see any use in was weighing me and taking bloods. So I know that from m booking in appointment I have put on 2 stone, much better than the 5 and a half stone I put on last time :rotfl:

DP - I bought a second hand Boots Tens machine from ebay for £16 including P+P and it has a setting to use for back pain so I tested it out on that one and found it to be quite useful. Although now I have to have a csection I wont be trying it out in labour, but am keeping it for back pain :D

My cat is going mental attacking my pregnancy pillow, I find it highly amusing as she used to attack it last time, there is just something about it that she doesnt like as she goes full bushy tailed. Strange cat.

Right am tired and so am off to bed.

Night night ladies and bumps, heres to a good nights sleep:beer: (cocoa not beer tho lol)

Congrats Hngry and Sharkey and lovely pics MV!

Still here with vague period pain/ache and not much more. Went to the hospital yesterday and they did an echo and heart film - everything's fine and I just have to wait it out!

    Morning ladies.

Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer for mummy cuddles spaghetti. At least you know everythings fine.

I had a rough night on the couch. My cough was so bad I couldn't catch my breath. I think my OH is getting fed up with me.

Hugs Nic....has the Dr checked out your cough for you or is it that chesty cough that was left after the winter flu??? As for your OH stick your tongue out at him and tell him if he had kept his bits to himself then you wouldn't be in your condition and you could take something for the cough (try a spoonful of honey though as well next time you get a coughing bout and see how long it coats your throat for) xxxxx

I just wanted to say to those who are going to test their TENS. It is a really weird sensation and it might put you off, but when your in labour and having contractions the feeling really helps take your focus away from the actual contraction pain. Plus the fact you can boost it yourself gives you that control, and gives you something to concentrate on.

I used one along with G&A with DD and together they were fab.
With DS they put the TENS on but I had went into hospital fully dilated, so if didn't have time to build up. While pushing I was still pressing the boost button I can swear it was helping. It was when I was holding DS in my arms did OH tell me it had became unplugged 10 mins before lol.
