Morning all, good luck to Lauren!

My cravendale teapot arrived this morning. I am very happy! :D

Sounds good, where did you get this from? I'm after a teapot :)

Yeah Im getting the free boots bag on monday , so can nick the mat and will buy the bottle warmer/cooler things. Just need to speak nicely to my aunty , she does a contract for the company and gets 25% off :money:A woman at work has the sienna bag and I saw all the pockets inside and it gave me the idea , lol She has about 4 A4 ringbinders in it , so defo big enough. My baby wasnt moving about much last night , probs because my tummy is as tight as a drum , but has done a few karate chops this morning

That bl%dy Boots changing bag... I dunno how to get the b$gger :rotfl: I bought some stuff online before, put in the code, was accepted but it didn't come through on my Boots receipt (was on Paypal though) and nothing in box. I have ordered some more stuff couple of days ago, added the bag, added the code, was accepted but it didn't take the price of the bag off, so I deleted it. !!!!!! do you have to do to get this damn bag? :rotfl: The annoying thing is I don't even want it for myself, but for OH and grandparents when changing bubs. Plus I have spent a bit of money with Boots recently so they should give me the bag! :p

Sorry for my outburst :rotfl: How did you manage to get yours? Are you taking a voucher in? You see I am still waiting for the voucher. The code was courtesy of Jojo.

Nursing bras... When is a good idea to get fitted? I will just go to Mothercare I think, as they sorted me out with my maternity ones. I was a 34C but now a 36D, but my bras do leave a red line all around my body now and feel a bit tight sometimes. Maybe they'll recommend a 38E, though it seems absolutely laughable I could be that big b00bed :rotfl:

    Good luck Lauren!

Finally got a place that I've rung up about that is still there, so trying to arrange a viewing now. Downside is it is £50 a month more rent. Though it's the style of house we really like, so should be much bigger. Fingers crossed please ladies! Really want to move before bubs is here, and we'll have a lovely little nursery :D

WOW, you'd be brave to... After last time... Have you peed on a stick yet? lol

I don't know if I dare.. I've not had af since she was born either and she is still fully breastfed apart from 1 meal a day and yesterday I added breakfast.. but that is still 4 feeds a day... I am away to buy a test later for tomorrow.. if I am brave enough.. how accurate do you reckon the conception estimate is on the digitial clearblue? I have no idea when it might have happened.. I know how lol

I'm basing this purely on symptoms and I would need to decide if it would be a viable option with about a 13/14 months age gap, the drama of the baby and the fact OH will NOT be happy... nor will I.. SPD with a non-mobile under 1!!!

I will need huge amounts of tea and sympathy if I get a +ve though..

gfh.. NOT exciting... terrifying.. freja is only 6 months!!!!

  • It's always exciting...its very unlikely though, if she is breastfed and only just starting weaning...not impossible, granted, but unlikely.

For nursing bras after the birth, I bought a pack of the mothercare sleep nursing bras, they are more like a crop top and they don't have cups but they are so much more comfortable to wear when you have massive milk swollen norks :)
That's what I did. In fact I used them while I was pregnant as they're the same price as the maternity ones and it seems a waste to pay for separate maternity ones for just a few months.

    Afternoon ladies

Boo had a rubbish nights sleep but hey ho at least I got back to sleep. Was away to have a quick peek at lappy this morning and it fell of the arm of the chair.....again for about the 7th time and I have now broken it :o:(. The screen is completely shot I think and it will be £250 to replace it so it looks like a new laptop is in order. Not sure what I will do without it on my days of LOL. I do need it though as I do all my banking online. I was dreading telling DH as he is forever telling me off for leaving it there but he was not too bothered and was like "oh well cold turkey for you ha ha ha!!"

Jojo fab news about the tens but very naughty to tell you lies! I did notice you could pay the extra when ordering for secured delivery so I might use them and do this.
"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."
  • Thanks for reminding me jojo. Nursing bras are the only thing I still need to get.
How on earth are you supposed to know what size you are once your milk comes in?
I've gone upto a 36E in this pregnancy, I wonder if I should just get a 38F and be done with it?

    can anyone advise?

Also where's best to get them, Matalan do 2 for £10 but they never have them in my local store and I don't fancy paying the delivery charge. That said I could order a few different sizes and get the free delivery then just return the ones that don't fit......maybe i've just solved my problem all by myself..........:T

    Hi,
if you're after a bra for after baby, then I wouldnt get a larger back size (the 36/38 bit) as that size *shouldn't* get bigger when your milk comes in-it should only affect the cup size, so perhaps a 36F?? But as others have said, with both ds1 and ds2 my b o o b s did get a little bigger in the cup size for a couple of days when my milk first came in properly, then they adjusted themselves back tpo the size I had already been wearing lol

To tell if your bra is the right size, the back should be straight all the way round and not ride up your back-if it does then you need a smaller back size and possibly a bigger cup size, and the cups shouldn't 'pucker' at all-the material should be smooth, and there should be no 'bulging' out of the top or sides of the bra. And the best piece of advice is too always try them on as you may be one size in one bra and a different size in another-even in different styles of the same brand.

Sorry if sound like a bossy boots know it all :o I used to work in a lingerie shop, measuring and fitting bras! x
