Morning everyone.
Good news on the Tens machine...it arrived this morning. Checked the postmark and it was only posted on monday, not last week like the guy said. If he'd been honest in the 1st place it would have saved me worrying. Not got to be returned til the 7th April either. Sorry if i put anyone off the company. I think it must have just been a misunderstanding/error on their part, but no harm done
Been into town this morning, to buy my nursing bra's, would normally have waited another week, but don't fancy being fitted with 3 kids in tow due to half term -£25 for 2:eek:...they're not even nice. Ah well!
2 more shifts at work, although i'm looking forward to the rest, i'm really going to miss it.:undecided I've developed such a friendship with so many of the school children, that i'll miss their smiles, cheekiness and odd quirks.:cheesy:
Going out tomorrow night on the end of term party/do, only round the corner at a mates, then onto the pub (not sure i'll manage the pub part). Looking forward to it, despite being the size of a house and having nothing to wear.
Thats about all from me. Hope that Lauren is holding bubs by now, we need some more births on here and some pics of the gorgeous bundles.
xx:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Thanks for reminding me jojo. Nursing bras are the only thing I still need to get.
How on earth are you supposed to know what size you are once your milk comes in?
I've gone upto a 36E in this pregnancy, I wonder if I should just get a 38F and be done with it?
can anyone advise?
Also where's best to get them, Matalan do 2 for £10 but they never have them in my local store and I don't fancy paying the delivery charge. That said I could order a few different sizes and get the free delivery then just return the ones that don't fit......maybe i've just solved my problem all by myself..........:T0 -

Not sure - mine were the same size throughout the pregnancies and after when my milk came in so it wasn't a problem for me personally.
I've brought a couple of nice ones from Next so far as I didn't want to buy 'maternity' bras and then have to get separate nursing ones so sort of MSE0 -
With nursing bras.. if it helps I have fed my babies and the bra size I was at about 5 months pregnant was the same after my milk came in.. I did have a couple of days (3-8) when I was very very full and the bras were a bit snug but that was soon sorted and settled.
With my last one I went from 36DD to 36FF/G while pregnant and am still wearing the same bras now she is 6 months old.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Ive also been wondering what size to get. i need to get something bigger soon as my normal ones are hurting me. I never wear underwired though so they are not unbearable yet.
I think my last ones were from Asda and were £5 each, but I dont think they do them anymore.
Im normally a 38 c. im going to get a 40 D. Ill have a look at Matalan when im next there.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Worth noting for anyone who still gets one from this website that they do offer Special Delivery at a little extra cost, if you are worried about it going astray.
I wish I'd gone ahead and ordered one now, but I dithered about it too long and now at 2 days overdue I'm not sure I'd benefit from it when it arrives lol!
Had a sweep yesterday, a little more uncomfortable than the ones I had last time round, but it was a man this time and ladies did it before, so maybe he was stronger! Definitely had to breathe through it, but hopefully this time it starts something as never worked before for me. DH watched them and afterwards said now he knew how to do it, if it didn't work then he would do it again for me!! Thanks but no thanks, think I'll leave it to the professionals! Had a dragging period type ache in lower belly and back since, but think I'm being hopeful that it's 'something' going on as I've had this on and off over the past few weeks anyway.
Have been booked for a CS on 25th Feb (10 days over) but they will attempt to break my waters beforehand to give one last chance to go into labour and have the VBAC, if nothing happens for 4 hours or progresses too slowly, then down to theatre for the op. Obviously assuming baby doesn't put in an appearance before then!0 -
I was 36DD and went up to 38G but they feel a bit big so am going to get myself a couple of 38F for nursing I think, just cheapo ones until I get sized properly a couple of weeks after the birth
I would love a prediction from Princess Coupon if she has time lol (totally of subject I know but it popped into my head in the early hours of this morning lol)The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
About the nursing bras, in Mothercare they will measure you now and have some sort of way they work out what size you should be when milk comes in, not sure how they work it out though.
I never changed size at all through either pregnancy (just had to swap underwired for non-wired and was ok), and didn't trust how they'd work it out what size I would be needing for afterwards, so I just went along after the birth and got measured then. I was 2 back sizes and 2 cup sizes bigger. I don't see how you can predict what size you will be, you don't know how much bigger they will be and some mums I know didn't even need a different size to normal. I don't want to waste that much money on bra's that won't fit properly.0
