Apricot - i have found some nice maternity stuff in h and m.

Teenie - glad the appointment went OK.

    Congratulations on the boy Brednall!

Had my check up today with doctor (have shared care with midwife). My blood pressure and urine were Ok this time which is good news. Baby is currently head down so lets hope she stays there! She didn't measure me this time but guess she wasn't concerned.

Yay on everything being clear at the Drs :)

I have physio tomorrow and am hoping that she will be able to do something to settle this pain.....had a lie down this afternoon and slet again for an hour or so and hubby actually woke me when he came in if only to ask what I wanted to eat....my reply was food please lol so he's away to M&S for steak (not very MSE I know but I want steak!!!!) lol

Those are a good price Apricot, might have to get some.

What a lovely hubby you have RBG - enjoy your steak.

Supermaiden - is lovely when you can feel baby move, took a few more weeks for my OH to feel baby though.

I'm craving love hearts...I can't get enough of the chalky sweet. I've had the craving for a couple of weeks & it's still going strong. Currently 4 packs in my local Tesco Express for £1! :money:
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

Massive congratulations HungryMummy glad to hear that you are both at home already. Will look forward to hearing a name and hopefully seeing some pictures :)

Congratulations on Team Blue Brednall good news on being discharged from consultant care too.

Ooooooooh good luck Sharkey I hope this is it for you – will look forward to an update from you :)

Ema I was looking at that exact polka dot holdall on Ebay to use for my hospital bag as well – shame there’s no picture of the inside to show how roomy it is, I’m notoriously bad for overpacking so need something with plenty of space inside!

Well we had a nice trip away to the Alton Towers hotel for valentines :D

Really enjoyed our hospital visit on Sunday morning and we had our final ante-natal class this morning. Then this afternoon I had an apt with the MW – everything was looking good :D all the usual routine checks were perfect, am measuring spot on where I should (which I was worried about as I feel huge), baby is lying head down half engaged into the pelvis but is currently back to back so ideally we need him/her to move round and then they will be in the perfect position. Best of all she said that if things stay the way they are she can see no reason why I shouldn’t be able to try for a water birth as long as the pool is free – she actually said it would be a great idea with my PGP to go for that option.

Am feeling really happy and very positive about everything now and just can’t wait for bubs to come now :D

Congratulations Hngrymummy - how lovely to have a Valentines baby :)

Congrats on Team Blue Breadnall :j

Well, I'm a bit ticked off. Went for my 35 week MW appt today and baby has decided to try out the breech position! Tbh, I thought it earlier on today as I was sat at work and could feel hiccups above my belly button, whereby they have always been low down before. Mentioned it to the MW who checked the baby's position and yep, def breech! I'm 35 weeks tomorrow, please someone tell me that she will move back round! I'm back at the MW next Tuesday, and if she's still breech then apparently they book you in for a scan. Any experiences?

On the positives, my pram, phone and sliding doors were all delivered today :T

Shazza - Sounds like you had a good MW appt. Turning vibes your way so baby isn't back to back!
  • hngrymummy Congratulations! Yippeee!

sammy don't worry, sometimes they turn as late as during labour. Maybe she just fancied a change.

Been watching a Cath Kidston doctor's bag on ebay as a changing bag, the blummen thing is at £87 now, it was only £85 when it was on the cath kidston site...what's going on?
