PMSL I wish I had the nerve... the site office (porta kabin) is about 200 yards from my house, you can't access it that way though, you would have to walk around the site to find the very clean (only part of the development that is!) site entrance, aka sales office, then dodge the heavy machinery to the site foreman's office. 2 people I know of who have tried to visit the site office in person have been escorted from the site by our local community bobbies

HSE are currently "investigating" and have been for the last 6 months or so

Ring them and tell them to 'investigate' a bit more because if you or your kids trip as a result of negligence by HH and something which the HSE could have sorted then you will most definitely be seeking legal advice. Post them some copies of the photos just so they understand. They are tere to do a job and if they aint doing it then a swift kick up the backside won't do any harm.
