A little in, courtesy of the BS/Telegraph voucher, a small size hemp hand protector, so a very practical in , will add it to the stash and no money changed hands.

HELP!! Does anyone use any kind of eyebrow fixer or gel that they can recommend for a more groomed brow look? Something that will glue my brows up into sleek well-groomed arches, would be perfect :rotfl:

Any suggestions, ladies? Don't mind paying a bit for something that works.

    Thanks!

I use Collection 2000 clear mascara! Works wonder and is only about £1.80!

That made me feel really sad for you lynsey, I really hope you do get to move to Cornwall someday. Why does he not want to move there?

I feel the same sometimes, I had lots of plans before meeting OH and I'm not sure what happened to some of them! OTOH, we have done lots of great things together and he loves travelling, so I am lucky I guess.

Tara, I never meant to make anyone feel sad about what I said :o

I think the reason mainly is he wouldn't get the same salary as he's on now for the type of work he does, whereas I would probably do just about any job just to live back down in Cornwall, within reason of course :rotfl:

Thanks for the welcome!:) Will join in with you now then, I've got to stop buying things, can't move in the bathroom for stuff and half the cupboards in the bedroom are full of smellies too. Think I have enough shower gel/creme to last at least a year (this is my big weakness). Have a few splutterers on the go so should have some uu to report this week.

Sarah*a - didn't realise you had family serving! I wouldn't have tried to teach you to suck eggs :) Perhaps you could ask your brother for the names of people in his unit who don't get many care packages sent, and we could direct them that way - sometimes it's nice to keep it in the 'family'?

I started back on the Avon Soft Glow (with fake tan) last night. I've showered twice and it still stinks of that marzipan fakeness. No streaks though, so that's a plus. It also meant I've now got a foaming body scrub that started to splutter, as I had to have a good exfoilate first! Small achievements.

Vivh, welcome! Everyone here is really friendly - it does seem like one of the nicest challenges! Use up stuff that makes you feel good - what can be wrong with that?

Another UU for me - it's been a UU week here :T
LUSH Snow Fairy Hair & Showergel - WIBA? Oh Yes! I love this stuff and am very sad I have no more :(:( I have remembered I have a Snow Fairy Solid Perfume somewhere so will go on a hunt for it sometime this week and I've still got my Snow Fairy Lip Tint to keep me going :p

Lush make a soap called The Godmother which has the Snow Fairy smell, don't know if that's of any use to you?

Can someone remind me of the Boots returns policy on things that don't have a receipt? I've got a big tub of FlakeAway (unopened) and its the only S&G product I don't like. Can I take it back and swap for something else? I didn't buy it but I imagine it came from boots originally. The barcode would be the same wherever it came from wouldn't it? I'll probably get Clean On Me as I've only a dribble of that left and I do love it :D

Thanks for your help Ladies x

One splutter-er: Avon shimmering body lotion. Grrr!

I've told the OH to use the Raspberry Milkshake showergel as a shampoo ( it works!) because else wise it'll never be finished!

One UU- sample of Olay Regenerist Flawless Skin cream. Really disappointed by this as Regenerist is my skincare of choice:( This felt weird on my skin, it was more like a sunblock than a moisturiser and it made my eyes stream even though I didn't put it near my eyes (I have a separate eye gel as my eyes are very sensitive). I'll stick with the 3 Point Super Serum which I absolutely love.

Same here - I tried sample of another Olay and had the streaming eyes too. Think it was the total effects wake up wonder. I get on well with the 3 point serum so had considered trying the flawless skin cream, but I wont bother now!!:p
