That sounds so pretty :D I wish I could do something like that in our bathroom but TBH the dog would eat it :( Last week betwen them they destroyed OH's rubber duck family - one of them had to have actually climbed in the bath to get it

Thanks - I'll have a look for that one - I can't find it on their website and there's nothing on eBay :( However! OH popped out and scoured the country for a Telegraph this morning so I have a BS voucher so might use it towards a BS leg gel

    What a lovely idea :T

Rosemary - can you use a different computer/laptop to get your Debs deal?

Dh did look at the site but he says the fault is theirs and I should forgot about it....I said he had a problem with the "S"(shopping) word....actually he has a problem with a lot of "S " words.he said he could order some items but not others!!!!managed to find the tools temp folders bit then remembered had done that before for something and lost all my passwords so not going to go there

anyway plan to go to town next week so will be able to shop in person.DH reckons Debs must have problems and were not very helpful just telling me to phone....what and lose out on quidco?????

I have another UU Clinique Aromatics Elixir freebie. I wasn't particularly keen on this at the start as it felt it was too heavy even for evening wear but I persevered. Also noticed a possible bonus when wearing this - a lot more interest from the fellas when I was wearing this. Not just out at night but also at the cinema & lifts!!(which never happens) etc. Wondering if it is one of those pheromone (SP) ones??

Lol, that's good to know, Fiasco! I may have to invest in some! Hope your eye feels better soon, that's a really unlucky thing to happen.

I love your stash, Betty, you'll have to give us lots of reports on how you get on. I'm pondering whether to get the Clinique deep comfort body butter once I've used up all my others, so it will be interesting to hear what you think of it.

Finally, one UU for me! 1 sachet of Nuxe First expressions moisturiser - I didn't use it all but chucked it away as I was travelling. WIB? No, it smelt too much like cucumber for me, and obviously couldn't see much result after only 2 uses. I'm thinking of saving all my sachets for travelling, which means I should reach the final stash items much faster. Woop! :D
  • not much to report-been away this weekend so used up loads of random samples-also finished a nail polish remover, cant rember the name but its awfull!!
re leg gel- i use one called urban retreat? or something like that its pretty good :P

I do this. I go away with work 3-4 times a year for 3 nights at a time. I take all the free sachets I get from magazines to use whilst I'm away. We are away doing outdoor pursuits so there's no need for me to look glam :rotfl: so it doesn't matter if the products don't always like my skin/hair.

3 outs over the weekend - my Gok set has 4 hours or so left on it and is currently £14 (whoop!!) and my two perfumes both sold for WAY more than I thought they would - hope the people like them !! Contemplating selling the lipsticks i got with the flake competition last year - but they dont seem to be making very much,so not too sure about that.... all the money is going towards a suppliment for my horse though - so I might hang fire for a bit and do it when i need some more...

no ins either - but Im starting to think that my stash is very small !!!

    Hi Rose,

I've tried the Deep comfort body butter, and it is quite lovely, but not significantly better than standard cocoa butter, if I'm honest. I wouldn't be likely to spend that much on it again! The one I will buy again is the Sanctuary body butter - Mande Lular or the regular one. Lovely smell and wonderfully silky on the skin!

Sarah*a, I looked it up online, and there are lots of schemes that ask you to send a care package to a serving soldier. You can either send something to a scheme, or obtain the name of a soldier and send it direct. They have a list of what you can and can't include, and I was shocked to realise that the female personnel often rely on care packages including tampons and towels, as they don't always have the supplies available! Outrageous! I'm amending the contents of the box a bit to make it appropriate for a female officer!

Lovely idea indeed - you also put in a note to the soldier, so you can say thanks for what they do for us. If you include your address, they often write back.

  • Many thanks to the person who advised that the John Frieda voucher was sent by the company - I checked my post bag (waiting to be shredded) and found one in there so off to SD tomorrow for my hair dye :D

I've no more UU's to report although I've several splutter's and no in's either (until I buy my hair dye):D:D

Please can I ask some (more) advice?

I've got an Alberto Balsam green apple shampoo that whilst I love the smell, my hair hates it - having read through your posts, I'm going to use this up cleaning the bathroom but have you any other ideas for using it up as I can't wait to see it gone now?

Also I've got a Mr T Vit E eye make up remover that I cannot use as it stings like billy-o:mad: - any ideas on how else I can use this up???
:naughty: Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies
  • ok so after earlier post i did something bad!
went onto debenhams (via topcashback) and picked up the urban decay 15 eyeliner kit i was talking about- £60!!:eek:oh well they are about 11quid each so does work out quite cheap if i think i love these eyeliners and will defo us ethem. also reacctivated my beautycard first because i noticed that they were offering a bonus 500 points-the only thing being that none of the points have tracked on my account as yet,is this supposed to happen straight away? oh and i didnt notice they also have a 10%off code so not a very successfull shop for me:rotfl:
also picked up a mac eyeshadow from the new collection which is sold out on the mac website but availble there- so happy with this didnt know that debenhams did mac-my local doesnt and least now i can justify it slightly more by the fact i get reward points/cashback!! okay so back on the bandwagon now honest:Aone more thing i have 5xboots skincare vouchers- is the cheapest thing the sanctuary stuff was actually thinking about mothers day in advance not for me honest....

what a lovely idea,is it freepost?do you have any links? If not what did you google?would love to do a bit to help esp women as they don't always appear in the news much and think we forgot they are there. Was so upsetting watching the newes this week with poor lads who were killed esp the one whose wife is having a baby any day now.I for one do not understand what Afgansitan is all about but feel for the troops and families.A young lad from church is out there and I can't imagine how his poor mum copes:(
