:eek:MoneyQueen do you have one of every item from Lush? I am so jealous! :rotfl:

Well I have tried almost everything from Lush since I started 4 years ago. There are not many things that I don't like from there and I like variety.

I used to go to Lush monthly (some times twice in a month ) but not any more. I am going to finish my stash and then only buy my HGs from there. Though looking at everyone stashes, I am very tempted by S&G :o

  • I have a UU to declare

Dove Pro-age hand cream: In true MSE style, I cut the tube open and used ALL of it. This is the first time I have done and was shocked at the amount that was left in it

WIBA? Not sure.. it was very old so that may have been the reason but it felt and smelt very chemically

    Happy Pampering

I managed to go 6 days with no ins until today, though I did have a few NPIs.

1st in was the Barry M freebie from the sun, which was actually free as didnt pay for the paper. DD has blagged the whole set, so not sure if this actually counts as an in as I wont be using and not added to my stash, DD is away at Uni most of the year and is back visiting:D When I picked up the freebie in superdrug on the back of the receipt was the survey to get 10% off wys £10 so for a change I will actually do the survey as I have some things I intend to get from superdrug in the next few days. I have always thrown these away before but I have read a couple of people on here saying how they use them so thought I would give it a go as I need some new curl spray, after the last one ran out a few weeks ago I discovered that although I have several shoe boxes of hair styling products no actual curl sprays left:eek: After a lot of online research I decided to get some John Frieda dream curls spray and Frizz-Ease Curly Spiral Style Curl Defining Spray Gel (has anyone tried and can comment on the spiral spray?) I have used the other one previously and quite liked I found that superdrug has the best price 2 for £6.99 for the next few days, so if I use the 10% that will save a bit more. Will see if DD needs anything to bring it up to £10 minimum, will be paying for with another Lovetoshop voucher so hopefully no spend.

I also bought 3 items from TJ Hughes again, as its 3 for 2 in the whole store till monday. I needed some cuticle cream 99p as I have none left, almost bought last week but thought I still had some and on checking did not. I also got some translucent powder for 99p, DD borrowed mine ages ago and never seen it since and some body lotion:o (didnt really need the body lotion but was in a rush and just wanted something I would use for 99p) so for 3 products £1.98.

I also got a bottle of Dentyl and a bottle of Lynx for DS from wilkinson, the Dentyl was the cheapest price I could find at £3.77 everywhere else was £4 or more and the Lynx was 98p. No actual spend as I had a Lovetoshop voucher from Toluna so used that. Not sure if buying for DS and DD need to be counted or not as they dont add to my stash.

Last in was a curl spray from Poundland which was the only one on the shelf and to me it was fate and meant for me as I was on the hunt for one, obviously £1.

Total spend for all items in was £2.98 so added to last weeks makes £3.30 for the month so far.

UU I finished a Dentyl mouthwash, the blue one that is more expensive. This is one of HG products and I only have one bottle left so hence for buying one today. I did open a Listerine one earlier in the week, which had not tried previously and bought a while ago from Morrisons @ 99p, but I have decided I much prefer the Dentyl. I will leave out the Listerine and hopefully DS or DD may use or I may use occasionally.

I used up a Bourjois nail varnish remover as I am using it more as have been regularly doing my nails the last few weeks I would not buy again as not that impressed with it, plus still have at least 3 more bottles in my stash as I bought it with the vouchers in boots and think it worked out about 35p or thereabouts a bottle.

2 shine sprays 1st one Umberto giannini the small handbag size, I would buy again if I could get at the same price as I quite like it but it was a glitch and I paid about 5p or thereabouts for it with a voucher from the ACM, bought several and still have one left, so not likely to find again. The other was a Gum smelled lovely was also good and would buy again but I think it was discontinued also, probably because lots of the items I buy are in the clearance section.

I finished a facial wash DD passed to me when she left for Uni, WNBA nothing special. Also finished a Natural Collection cream blusher another boots glitch from years ago I paid pennies for I would buy again but they stopped making this years ago, I think I managed to pick up 4 or 5 of these so was sad to see it finished.

With regards to stashes of items other than toiletries I also stash toilet rolls, have one of the shelves at the top of my wardrobe filled with them, bought 3 of the triple velvet in Morrisons the other days, probably enough up there to last at least six months. I also stash kitchen roll, mainly plenty bought with mocs, again approx 6 months supply. Cleaning stuff, ie bleach, flash spray, fairy liquid, washing powders/liquids and conditioners, and I must have at least 30 packs of dishwasher tablets, not counted recently, most of which were free and will probably last me years. All of these are regularly used so dont worry me that much as they do go down.

Someone asked about mocs off the John Frieda hair colour and where to find them. I had a couple of these I received in the post, but they ran out on 31 Jan, as I had to throw one away a week or so ago as it had expired.

Just opened a new Natural Collection Lemon Sorbet lip balm today and DD pointed out how long ago I must have bought it, think this was the item that started me on the boots points trail many years ago where they were 99p each and you got 100 points, I think I must have bought at least 20, still have another 2 sealed ones left. Does anyone else remember getting these, I reckon it must have been at least 5 years ago, probably much longer:eek:

    Morning All

    Welcome Lilly1972 :hello:
Thanks for all the hellos - feeling welcome, fuzzy and well moisturised.

I'm sure I've got something in my stash that will deal with that :rotfl:

Am trying desperately to use up a 100ml bottle of M&S moisturiser, and it seems to be a bit bigger on the inside than the outside. :rotfl: Die, die, die! (It's not that nice.)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm getting like that with my current shampoo :D

UU to report - Gok Wan body butter - I like this and have another full size and one small size to go, unfortunately it ran out a bit early and I had to use a vaseline body lotion on one leg!

:D Why didn't you just open a new tub? :D
Two small UU to report, 2 sachets of DHC acerola moisturiser. Had these for years and I think they might have gone off, they smelled a bit funny anyway! Have no idea what acerola is so perhaps they just smelled of that!

I read that as areola moisturiser and thought  what on earth will they think of next :o:o:rotfl::rotfl:

No In's from me - managed to avoid the BS voucher because the Telegraph was OOS in every shop I went in :rotfl: I have the Barry M voucher but don't hold out any hope of there being any left on Monday *rolleyes*

    Two UU's

Lacura Cleanser - WIBA? Yes - probably will pick one up in the next week or so as there's not as much as I thought in my Clean Mary and will need to get something. Nice consistency and great price!
Olay Serum - 7ml Free Sample - WIBA? Meh? Prefer my P&P so will stick to that :D

I tell a lie :o I have an IN  A Hello Kitty Glossy Strawberry Lip Balm - which came in a Claires £3 for 10 suprise bag :rotfl: I've had 3 of these bags and, with the exception of 2 halloweeny items, everything has been good for stocking fillers or stuff I can use - only cosmeticky item was the lipbalm.

One OUT - Batiste Dry Shampoo Brit - Gave to DD to try :D

Does anyone use Leg Cooling Gels? I had a sample sachet ages ago and it was fab for my feet/legs when they misbehave and swell up a bit and have been looking for a good one ever since - I usually forget when I'm actually at the store but might remember if I'm looking for a particular product :o

Not going out via any shops later so will hopefully avoid the Sunday BS voucher :D

    Have a Great Sunday

Tommyk - which Avon shower gel and body lotion is it you're using? It's always nice to hear people's positives about Avon stuff so I can use them as recommendations to customers.
Good morning, the ones im usung at the moment are skin so soft, soft and renewed body cleanser and body lotion. Im not sure how much I paid for them, but it would have been a special offer, as I always look for avon offers. The body cleanser smells divine, a light floral kind of smell, perfect for everyday use. I use it with a puff, and a little goes a very long way, very mse! leaves my skin feeling fresh, no tightness I get with certain products.
The body lotion smell is not quite as strong as the cleanser, nice and light, and tends to sit on the skin for a moment until you rub it in properly, and sinks in lovely. skin feels nice and soft after use, knees included!
    hope that helps :)

I'll def be getting more bubble bars and bombs whenever I get a chance, I do love them. I really like the idea of a nice bowl, full of pretty lush bath stuff, sitting out in my bathroom, looking good, and making the bathroom always smell (of) lush :D
    :T

    (snip)

we keep our soaps/bath bombs/bubble bars on a two-tier cake stand in the bathroom and I have to admit it does look very pretty, xx

Only one UU this week - a travel size hotel shower gel, it was a biggish one though. I'm slowly working through my stash of them, down to 10 from 16!

    I had 4 IN's yesterday:

    - 2 x john frieda frizz ease extra strong - my HG of hair products. I have almost finished my last one and they were on offer 2 for £7.50 in Boots so I got 2.
    - 1 x perfume and 1 x face serum - both were freebies from Cosmopolitan magazine :D so not really a purchase. They are full size ones for me to try and review. I won't use the perfume though so I'll pass that on to someone else.

I do need a new concealor. I normally use Benefit Boiing. Does anyone know anywhere cheap to get it? Or can anyone recommend a similar concealer? It's my HG but £16.50 is pricey at mo!
