Hello hope you all had nice weekends. I few slip ups here and there i see, LOL! ;)

Finally UU a champneys citrus glow sugar scrub - WIBA - yes, it was lovely (think I may have got this on special though for £5 whilst on a pampering weekend there), I love Champneys (except the rose smell, not my cup of tea.)

NPI at Boots - tried to spend my £3 off sanctuary skin care, but couldn't find a product it would work on....will have to try again when I have more patience. Whilst I was at the self serve till I spotted a £5 skincare voucher on the floor.....well, it wouldn't have been right to just leave it there would it!

A lit of people here talk highly of superdrug so I've been checking it out. They have some nice products, I have been impressed - some really nice body butters (blatant copy of BS) for £3.65 - I will definitely try these when I run out of my current stock - probably 2012 sometime!! :rotfl:

Was very good and didn't go for the BS £5 off voucher - and boy was that hard - they have so many promotions, thought I would wait for the next one (still have the Feb £10 off £25 spend unused.) They seemed to have some sort of sample promotion - a little table set up at the front of the store with a load of testers and sample jars!! I er selected a few ;) to take home and try! The staff in there are just so lovely too (Lakeside in case anyone fancies a nosey!) :j
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Where am I not from? Lived in Porthleven when I was born and subsequently moved to Threemilestone, Camborne, Redruth and St Day.

    What about you?

Nowhere very exciting! Just Bodmin! Would love to move back to Cornwall, but definitely not Bodmin!

EH, it takes such a long time listing on ebay doesn't it!? Drive me mad, but it's worth it if you can sell some things. I've just listed a fw bits from the Claire's Accessories lucky bags I got, so hopefully they will sell. It's free listing this weekend too!

OUT - tube of DiproBase found in my handcream stash. No idea where it came from or who bought it!! I thought it might belong to DP who gets sore hands from work, but he said he couldnt remember using it. Expiry date in 2013 but I've told him I dont want it (smells horrible and I prefer Eumovate for ezcema flareups) and to get rid of it if he's not going to be using it.

  • 4 small IN's to report here - courtesy of the BS Telegraph vouchers.

    1 x 60ml Moringa Shower Gel - £2.50
    1 x 60ml Shea Shower Cream - £2.50
    1 x 60ml Rainforest Moisture Shampoo - £2.00
    1 x 60ml Seaweed face wash - £3.00

So Zero spend, and I was lucky to not even have the cost of the papers as OH gets the Telegraph daily in any case. :D

I'm not adding these to my stash list as they will go straight into my basket of minis for trips away.

A little in, courtesy of the BS/Telegraph voucher, a small size hemp hand protector, so a very practical in , will add it to the stash and no money changed hands.

HELP!! Does anyone use any kind of eyebrow fixer or gel that they can recommend for a more groomed brow look? Something that will glue my brows up into sleek well-groomed arches, would be perfect :rotfl:

Any suggestions, ladies? Don't mind paying a bit for something that works.

    Thanks!

Hi, have been lurking in the background for a while and just want to say how nice and supportive you all are in comparison to some other threads where people seem a bit stroppy (or is it just me being a bit over sensitive). If a new thread starts in March I may join in with you then. Been far to naughty this month and don't want to own up to it yet:eek:

Hello :hello: No need to wait- jump right in :p
I know what you mean about some of the other threads - they can get a bit :eek: at times - we're all friendly in here - softened up by all our lovely products I reckon :rotfl:

Grrrr  - wish I'd noticed that sooner - I've got a bunch of stuff to go on and was waiting for a free weekend - hmmmm - didn't get a notification email either
.....and I was shocked to realise that the female personnel often rely on care packages including tampons and towels, as they don't always have the supplies available! Outrageous! I'm amending the contents of the box a bit to make it appropriate for a female officer!

My brother's been out 3/4 times already and is due back at some point this year - most likely over xmas :( - I always send him boxes of random goodies to make them laugh mixed with actual useful stuff :p I'll have to find out if any female soldiers are with him next time and add something in for them. ;)

He always asks for things like wet wipes, books/mags, toothbrush & toothpaste, bags of sweets (I sent a box full of sherbert fruits once - those plastic fruit shapes filled with sherbert - and apparently they were "the funniest thing ever" I dread to think :rotfl:) and if he's out somewhere over his wifes birthday or their anniversary I send him a card to fill in and post :D

If you can send to a named serving soldier it is free to send parcels/packets upto 2kg in weight so instead of paying to send to a distribution agency you could send more by sending direct :D

Another UU for me - it's been a UU week here :T
LUSH Snow Fairy Hair & Showergel - WIBA? Oh Yes! I love this stuff and am very sad I have no more :(:( I have remembered I have a Snow Fairy Solid Perfume somewhere so will go on a hunt for it sometime this week and I've still got my Snow Fairy Lip Tint to keep me going :p
