I'll def be getting more bubble bars and bombs whenever I get a chance, I do love them. I really like the idea of a nice bowl, full of pretty lush bath stuff, sitting out in my bathroom, looking good, and making the bathroom always smell (of) lushroshydoshy wrote: »Thanks again for all the well wishes for Oz, it really means a lot - now that I've made my mind up I need to sort out all the little bits and pieces to enable it to go, I think I'll apply for a years working visa and a one way ticket, that way I can decide when I come home, and whether I love it or hate it!
I had a UU last night, I went shopping to Costco and managed to avoid all temptations, toiletries, sweeties, even the muffins :T :rotfl: and when I got home, I must have been in a daze, I UU my final Lush bathbomb (Satsuma santa??) but wasn't paying attention and went back downstairs. When I came up and walked into the bathroom it took my breath for a second because I forgot that it turns the water blood red :rotfl: i thought it was one of the biblical plagues :rotfl:
Sooooo that is no more Lush stuff in my stash :T and although I do like some of the bathbombs/fizzers etc, in the future I will only buy 1 at a time!! and will buy them on the day/week (can only go to Lush on Saturdays) that I want to use them.
Yay for Oz planning! And  for managing to avoid the muffins, something I can never do.
I had a pleasant surprise last night when I opened my little lush stash box, thinking I just had a few bombs left, and saw a bubble bar, yay! I then picked up what I thought was a bomb, but couldn't really tell, as it was from xmas over a year ago, and rather battered - took a chance on crumbling it, and it turned out to be a bubble bar too! I used half of it last night, it made the water bright orange, and the bubbles were higher than the water was deep!
I think the remaining half can safely be split in two and still give enough bubbles
I really like the sound of that Satsuma Santa bomb, it sounds amazing! I have one xmas bomb in my stash that might possibly be it - I'll keep my fingers crossed.I love the Sanctuary bath float, and am really looking forward to trying out the BS Polynesia bath milk. HTH.
Oooh, there is a BS here, though I haven't gone in yet, too scared to find out what the prices are :rotfl: I might have to go in and have a sniff of the bath milk though. Hmm, I wonder if there is a Swiss BS site, and if it has as many glitches as the UK one? :A
Sanctuary I'll check out when I'm back in the UK (next weekend!):T0 -
Morning,
One UU here: Decleor soothing cream 15ml. This tub lasted forever - it made me realise how little face moisturiser I need! WIBA? No, this cream is meant to be used over the Decleor oil so it doesn't actually do anything on its own. And I'm not a massive fan of the oil either.
Now onto my last day cream - an already opened Biotherm one, and after that it's just gazillions of samples. Getting there! :j0 -
I so need to get rid of my blackheads too, any tips ladies????lizziebabe wrote: »Does everyone here use a night cream? I have started to as I need to use up my stash and it might help
Don't know if it has made any difference yet but will hopefully see after a month.
Tara - have never really had a problem with blackheads but do you use a face mask - I believe there are some that are good for BH's like clay and dead sea salt etc
Have you ever tried those nose strips - that is if you have them on your nose.Anyway good luck with that.
I use those strips for blackheads, they work quite well. I quite like Superdrugs own Tea tree version, cheap and cheeful.
I don't use a specific nightcream, just OCM, then my normal Clinique DD lotion. I use this in the day as well, just add a sunblock on top of it.Absinthe_Fairy wrote: »I loved the Enid Blyton books too. Always wanted to go to boarding school. I didn't realise that only the 'posh' kids went there and if I'd lived at that time I'd have most likely been the scullery maid or something!
I have all the St Clare's & Malory Towers, the Adventure series with Kiki the parrot (which I loved), some of the Secret series and a lot of the Famous Five and Secret Seven books (which I might start collecting next!)
I loved the Faraway Tree ones too!
Ah, these were all my favourite ones, so many memories!
One UU by the way from last night -
Toni & Guy Protein Protection Mist. WIBA? Hell yeah, I have 3 stashed, they made it the whole way to SwitzLove this and wouldn't use anything else now.

Welcome welshgirl78 - you lucky thing
Absinthe Fairy - lmao at the sculelry maid
Have an allowable in to report - free Models Own make-up kit arrived from the News of the World offer - and I didn't pay for the papers before anyone asks - they were scavenged from neighbours in true MSE stylieee.
Fixx - I looooove Tigi Protein Spray - at least the original before they changed the formula. I once found a 5 litre bucket of it in TJ Hughes for £20. Was I in heaven or what?0 -
A lovely memory just returned to me.
We had midnight feasts at the church youth camp I attended as a teenager - they were such fun. We'd have them the day we'd gone shopping in one of the nearest towns to buy holiday souvenirs - which was normally Wednesday in Swansea or Llanelli. I still have the Barry John Book of Rugby I bought in Llanelli, in 1973, I think. I'm from Cardiff, but preferred the Scarlets, the Llanelli rugby team. They had my all time rugby hero as a player, Phil Bennett.
The camp was at Llanmadoc on the Gower (Croeso i chi MerchGymraeg78, Welcome Welshgirl78 :j ) and it's mentioned by Mavis Nicholson in her book Martha Jane and Me. I emailed Mavis about it some years ago and received a really nice reply.
Returning to topic:
Just UU'd one of the Olay sample tubes. A Total Effects Everyday Sunshine deep tan. WIBA? This is supposed to be a deep tan but it isn't - luckily for me, for I have no desire to be orange. I already use the light tan from the same range, which is spluttering, I used this to help spin it out.
My HG conditioner (Elvive for weak, fine hair) is low and the Body Butter is going down nicely so I may have some Non Bought With Cash Ins (paying with vouchers) to report later.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Thank you for the review of the BS passionfruit cleansing gel. I'm going to need a new cleanser soon and haven't found anything I like yet so I'm going to give this a try sounds perfect for me as I have combination skin and what a fantastic price.
One UU to report Avon balance anti perperant WIBA? No wasn't strong enough for me0 -
Just had a shower before I go to work and a UU of Avon senses moonlight shower gel, wiba, maybe. I liked it because it was more a shower creme, however it was a little floral so that put me off. Also I think it will be hard to buy it soon because the lady that I get my orders from is no longer doing it from March. I think I will move onto my S&G I foam next0

second UU of the challenge to declare - Boots bath cream cranberry. this was part of a set and was the only bottle left. smelt very nice.
1 IN to declare - AVON kids shampoo. i am never sure whether there is an actual difference between kids and adults shampoo?DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Found a small bottle of Body Shop coconut shower gel in my overnight bag earlier, so my stash has gone up slightly. Does that technically count as an IN, seeing as I already had it?"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

went to flower club last night and we had the charity raffle i.e you take some beauty items in ,I took 2 Lush items from one of the Christmas half price boxes so we are talking over £1 here(the price we pay for a ticket) and came home with a deodorant and bottle of hand wash so basically we end up with hopefully with items of a similar cost and the charity gets our £1s............I do wonder why we bother and don't just hand over a £1 each:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
now finished the sanctuary spa facial oil WIBA probably not as prefer the Elizabth A oil capsules bought online at a third of shop price of course, still using the Kima spray on top of oil that came in the beauty bible box and was supposed to last as long as the oil it came with that I finished months ago:rotfl:By the way anyone been accepted for this years beauty bible tests?I put my name down ages ago and heard nothing.
Dh slept in DS3 bed last night as he felt ill again,I had only just changed it after I was in there last week!
