Just to clarify for VALM, as my sentence construction earlier was a little awkward and confusing (and me a literacy and numeracy tutor too). Tsk.
One of the message board regulars on the BBC's Ouch! Disability interests website was awarded the MBE for voluntary services to people with disabilities. Her investiture was on Tuesday and whilst she was there at the Palace she investigated the loos. The Queen's household provided Elemis handwash and lotion for their guests... hope all is crystal clear now!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
No more UUs but plenty of splutters - Simple facial wash which I find too drying.
Simple face wipes which I received a trail 7-day pack, ok but have plenty of other wipes to use first.
Still no ACM deodorant offer
Think I will have an early night, will top up my tan with the Boots Tan Maintainer, think it is pretty good and read a book. (Went to the library earlier).
I've still got all my books from when I was little, loved Enid Blyton's series and still have them in my bookcase. I should throw them out but hate to see waste.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Ive still got lots of the books from my childhood too - every so often I get them out and read them, just so I can feel nostalgic ! Famous Five, St Claires, Jill (pony books!), Secret Seven - love them all !!!!
had a bath earlier, but no UU.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

just had an email from Abel and Cole who sell fruit and veg boxes plus other stuff, any one used them?I don't want to be stuck with having a box every week but do like to get boxes and was fed up when tesco stopped selling them (OK nothing to do with beauty but neither was Mallory towers!!!....more of a famous 5 secret 7 girl myself:))
fingers crossed DH is ok for ball and meal he won't let me cook chicken for a while so running out of ideas for food....maybe not the right time to start shopping with a new food firm! The boxes looked good and they had meat and fish at ok prices but some of the other organic stuff looked expensive.
A nsd for me again - :j
Hope that you both are able to go to the ball rosemary - and have a lovely time. Sometimes it is really fun to get all dressed and pampered up for a night out.
I have had Abel & Cole and they are good if a tad expensive. I got the small mixed fruit/veg boxes when they were having a deal and then cancelled them. What I liked was that you can say what you want in the boxes and I never had potatoes as I don't eat that many and wanted veg instead. The website is very easy to use and has some great recipes especially if you get some stuff that you have never tried before, Very useful!
Have a lovely weekend everyone :T0 -
evening all
two more uu's to report
prada l'eau d'ambree body lotion 100ml - oh how I love this! It smells divine, I also use the perfume and it's my all time favourite, thankfully i have a 200ml pot of the body lotion that I was given at Chrismas which is still unopened;
molton brown suma ginseng shower/bath gel 100ml - another one from the set i got at Christmas, have to say this one was a bit 'masculine' smelling, not my favourite but did the job,
still no 'ins' to declare :j0 -
Has anyone used the Olay Aqua Physics Serum yet? It is on offer in Mr M's at half price. I was tempted as I have used up my flash beauty balm and my p & p serums. Decided to wait and see if any of you pampered ladies could/can recommend it?
Also one IN to report but I had to buy it out of necessity - H & B Arnica Cream. At work earlier in the week I accidently got hit in the face with a pool ball (ouch) and it has left me with a black eye and swollen area just under the eye. Every time my face moved it would nip. Headed off to Holland & Barrett to get some cream to help with this. It has helped and now only looks like I have badly applied black, blue, purple and yellow eye shadow!!!

Evening all,
Use up:
Clarins super (something) the dark red face night cream - wiba no - only get it as part of a gift with purchase. It's lovely and thick but I only want it on a deal!
I really sympathised with people struggling to use some stuff up. Agree with mc that the pink rose thing is about enjoying every day. So if the BS stuff ends up cleaning the sink, the bath, hand washing your smalls, whatever, then so be it. :A
I am going to have a tough time finding a replacement HG foundation for Collection 2000 mineral powder. I used the Avon Cashmere and it definitely doesnt quite suit my skin. That or my skn is a bit rough (but other foundations dont show that).

I have had to cut open my tube of Elle MacPherson Nourishing Foot Butter and will finish it off tomorrow. I will then only be left with one pot of foot lotion but it's one that I prefer to use in the summer as it's cooling and refreshing. I have therefore decided to use body butters on my feet in the meantime.
We have the Saturday Telegraph and so I will get the Body Shop voucher - I will definitely use it either on body butter or the seaweed moisturiser that has had good reviews on here. May not be able to get to a BS shop until next week though.
Roshdoshy - hope you get the job!
A few of you have mentioned pony books - I used to love the Mary O'Hara set of books, My Friend Flicka, Thunderhead and Green Grass of Wyoming.0 -
Am trying desperately to use up a 100ml bottle of M&S moisturiser, and it seems to be a bit bigger on the inside than the outside. :rotfl: Die, die, die! (It's not that nice.)Please call me 'Pickle'
