Roshy - don't agonise about the car debt or let it stop you moving (or are you using this as an excuse...), if it was your kids, wouldn't you do the same for them to see them happy? Could you just sell the car?
I spent a year travelling and living out of a rucksack with just a tub of sun cream and after sun - funny how I now manage to fill a whole house! :rotfl::rotfl:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Hi all
I had a massive online NPI this morning, filled my basket and then closed the page!!! It was a grabbit (Bliss at Debenhams) and a very good bargain, but I don't NEED the stuff!!! Go me
Er..... I don't need the stuff either but somehow clicked "confirm order":o
I am making 101 excuses in my head but the moisturiser has an SPF in it and will be used soon come the spring and then my Decleor Hydra floral can be used at night (blah, blah, blah...) and the eye cream ????.... well....er.... still looking for my HG Eye Cream:D BUT two products for £13.23 instead of £49.00:j
I know, I know, I know....:cheesy:

I do want to go but something is holding me back and I'm not sure what, I've never been able to put my finger on it!! Obviously I'll have to wait until after Glasto to go :rotfl: but I might get everything in order now and just save save save. The car was brand new so I could sell it back to the dealership I would lose a lot of money on it IYSWIM I would get more money for it if it was sold after the 3 years. I know they have been looking for a car for a couple of months so it's not as if they are doing it primarily as a favour to me (even though I know they are, but we both would get what we want) and I would buy it off them when I get back and get back in to employment. They have been telling me to do it for years so nows my chance, it seems everything has just come up all of a sudden - it's like I've been expecting it but not quite this soon!! I always said I would go when I graduated which was in December, I've got a chance to go from my redundancy, my cousins are offering me a place and say there are jobs for me there, and family friends have moved out there in the past year too. I guess its just the grown-upness of it that is getting me - I've never done anything this 'big' before. Sorry for the rambling I'm still trying to get my head around it
. Now the thing that is holding me up is whether to go to Glasto (first time but i've been dying to go for years) or go beforehand...?

I guess in my mind I could talk a good tale, and would convince everything else to go - I just need to start listening to my own advice. I think the house fund has now been relegated and a travel fund in it's place!
THANKS again girls for putting up with me trying to clear my mind!!! You should all start charging me!! :rotfl: x0 -
I've never heard of Bliss - but I do feel obliged
to look up any new products mentioned on this thread! :j
I don't like the packaging so am safe from this offer - good job I'm so shallow!! :rotfl:
I am trotting off to Boots in a mo though to try the Vitamin E cream though, thanks Tara!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Avon So Sensual Body Spray- Nice smell, but ended up pouring the last inch into the bottle of febreze because it wouldn't spray out!
I start a new bottle when the spray stops working - then tip the last of the old one into itXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

You can pay us in toiletries from your stash when you are packing to go to Oz - no waaaaay you can take that lot with you!! :j
I say just DO IT! (But we will support you if you don't.) I went when I was about 25 -I had saved up some money and it was either put a deposit on a flat or go travelling - yep you guessed, off I went - best year of my life. Although I preferred NZ to Oz (too many creepy crawlies!) LOL and the men were cuter :rotfl:oh sorry, bit OT here....
You mentioning Glastonbury reminded me of this Lush Bath bomb - gingerbread house - a friend gave me- it looked like my first post Glasto bath - I didn't exactly want to linger in the brown water!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Have you got tickets for this years then? I know there isnt a Glasto in 2012 but hopefully back in 2013. Since it'll be 2 years before you get chance again, I'd definately go - even if you came back to UK for a month to see family and go.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
trip to aussie sounds amazing!!thats the type of thing i always said i would do...maybe after uni :P

Hi everyone and welcome to any newbies.
VALM - I am also on the look out for an alternative to the LE Instant boost skin tonic. The A'kin Lavender one doesn't compare and neither does the Neal's yard orange flower toner. Now really tempted to look into the Clarins toner mineallmine and I'm with you on the Elemis - wanted to like it so much but had a bad reaction to the tri-enzyme cleanser and now don't want to risk anything else from Elemis:( (my face was red raw and felt like it was burning!)
When I decided to give up on LE, I started using Essential Care rose toner, it's really good. I'd only get it if you like the smell of roses though! Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0
