I thought I was being clever last year by putting make up bags with a mini kit in all my big(3) handbags....I use them all the time in the day as oppossed to smaller ones for evening)started out so well but then got fed up carting extra weight about and also took lippy out then forgot to replace in bag and ended up with several loose lippies in bags so now given up and all make up back in the basket in my draw.It rarely gets a trip out as when I go out I usually just throw lippy into handbags and not bother taking anything else.
I am trying to use lippies up but they last forever:(:(:(.....and thta is without using brush to get ends out.
right off to bed now dishwasher has finished and cats have come in
night all xx0 -

I hope you like it as much as the rest of those of us who have been converted to it!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I want to know what they're doing with her in that office that she keeps needing to top up her make up.
It could be that she is a member of this board though and trying to use up a huge stock of make up!
Oh Lemon Tree that is so funny :rotfl:.0 -
One day without posting and 4 pages to catch up on - you aren't half a bunch of chatty hatties :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:amandakins wrote: »Hi everybody, Please can I join your challenge as I have a stashRight now someone tell me I do not need to buy another lipstick just because it is "the perfect shade of nude"....

My DD (14 soon) decided to declutter her make up stash -while it has been built mostly from presents from friends and family and freebies (teen magazines always seem to give away some sort of cosmetic) she has also bought some with her pocket money. Anyway, she decided to do a cull and OMG was she ruthless - 'I don't need that, I'll never wear that, that's old/horrible,' you get the picture.
Why oh why can't I do the same? I have bucket loads of cosmetics which in all probability will never be anywhere near my face but are too old to give to anyone? Why am I keeping them?
Had to laugh at this - my DD is the same and I have to stay well out of the way when she's stash sorting otherwise I'm in there going 'you can't throw that out, I'll have that':o

:rotfl:I do that too - practically everyday when the BS Free Delivery and 30% off offer was on - very proud as didn't buy anything :A
and I got another email with another 30% off offer today *roll eyes*juliebunny wrote: »....Now I have the dilemna of having lots of Body lotion and butter and being about to run out of hand cream - is there really such a difference or can I just use the body stuff for my hands??
Personally I think it depends on how perfumed the lotion is - I can't use anything on my hands that has strong perfume in as it just dries them outbut non-perfumed/light perfumed I find OK
Loving the handbag/work stashes :T Don't have a work stash (don't have a work) and my bag stash is one BS Spiced Vanilla Lipbalm and a Mini S&G Hand Food.
Two UU's over the weekend and NO IN's :T
UU's
Gorgeous by Gok Body Butter - WIBA? Yes - I liked it, liked the smell and, more importantly, so did OH
Olay Total Effects Night Firming Moisturiser - WIBA? Not sure - quite greasy when applying but lovely and soft in the morning
Moving onto BS Cranberry Joy Body Butter and one of my No7 GWP Night Creams

OOOH! I have another UU (rather Throw Out - TO) to declare: I had to throw out a Virgin Vie mini lip gloss the other day as it had developed a puncture and was leaking everywhere. Pity, cos it was a great colour, and it had become my everyday lipgloss.
WIBA? Well, it was a present in the first place, so that's not technically true, but it was a great shade and pretty good quality, so yes. (But obviously I don't need to!)
