BTW, BlondeAmbition posted on here that their Mango BS Body butter had gone off now - I'm panicking now in case bits in my stash go off - how old was it? How long have people had this in their stashes and it still been ok? Panic panic....

I've had one BB go off that was only a few months old - but I had left it beside a radiator... :o
    Right her I go - it's going to be a long one:p
Everything in red is being used, blue are open and black are in my stash

Very lovely stash, thanks for posting!

If it helps, I could definitely have matched your hair and face stash when I started, but they are waaaaaay down now, and my hair is the best it's ever been, after discovering some HG products.

I do have quite long hair though, so I got through things quite quickly :D

On the subject of Scrubs - I have added some cocoa butter cream to my homemade scrub. Not because there is anything wrong with it as it is really working :D but to stop the dog licking it off the back of my legs :eek: I nearly jumped out of my skin :eek:

    stoopid mutt :o

Love this thread - I found you via a mention on the grabbit board and really need to get into this. I decided last year I should sort my stash and got rid of tons via gift baskets and ebay. I still have more make-up, nail varnish (27 ) and toiletries than one girl seriously needs, but I made a fab start. I resisted all temptation in the Boots sale. Yes, really :)

So...next step is to invoke the Candle Philosophy (love that) and also make a list of what I have. This could take a while.

I can't wait to see the stash photos - in fairness, I will do mine too - although it's going to be TINY in comparison to some on here.

Do people include stuff they have got in their 'gift' piles when they list their stash? One of my bestest friends reads this thread (and laughs at me/tells me off for being on the grabbit board before going off to order the TV I just old her about from it:rotfl::rotfl:!) so I can't put her gifts in the pic!!

I find that sometimes I over buy for the gift pile and it sliiiiiides across into my stash....:)
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I only just found the link and there are 5 pages to read! Lol

I hope to do better this month. I am adding in my sig both the total spend for the year and the last shopping day for toiletries. I hope that will help me to stay away from shops and spend money in things I have got, plus also give me a realistic idea of how much I do spend on toiletries. I picked up some hair dye a week ago that I have not included since it was paid with a voucher and it was either that or the hairdresser because my roots are nearly an inch black now! I am trying to stay like this until they are utterly obvious, atm I can get along with a hairband or styling it in certain ways but I know by next week I would have to do something, so I have already stocked up with an offer and a voucher. Can't make it better!

  • morning ladies,

have a uu to declare :j

Molton Brown - vitalising vitamin AB+C shower/bath gel 100ml. This was lovely and foamy to use and has a very pleasant fragrance. It was part of a gift set I received at Christmas, and although it was lovely I probably wouldn't buy it - would be very pleased If I was given it as a gift again though.

off now to do PYTNT connie_1.gif

    happy pampering, xx

    A couple of UU's:

Dove Intensive Lotion Extra Dry Skin sample - WIBA: No, boring.

Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner - WIBA: Still have another bottle. Brings my conditioner stash count to 2, woohoo!
  • Hi Guys,

Just wondering, do you/will you have enough to avoid buying compulsary things like anti-perspirent ?
  • Some things like deodorant ( 1 of the 1st things I used up :( ) to me are more essentials than anything else. I certainly won't let myself run out but will try and use what I have before I buy any more. Same with toothpaste. I think these threads have brilliant ideas but remember they aren't compulsory and you can tailor them to suit you and your lifestyle ;)

A SPLUTTERER is some Essentialy Yours Face Scrub. I've been using face scrubs and face packs for years now, and I'm still not sure they make any difference!

Agreed. I'm aiming to reduce my regime to a good moisturiser, face wash and 1 other product (toner, serum or mask, not sure which one actually works...).
