No UU to report, although think I might have more when the bump is gone and I can actually reach body parts to pamper them
An in - freebie which we all seem to have Olay 3 point serum.....
Hope you all have good days!!
Thanks SJP - you've really not got long to wait now, have you, how exciting!BigAndy_79 wrote: »Hi Guys,
Just wondering, do you/will you have enough to avoid buying compulsary things like anti-perspirent ?
Good to know you're still with us Andy!
"Social necessities" such as deodorant, toothpaste etc aren't counted by most of us as "in's" unless we have....ummmm....issues with stashing these.I have a "last purchased" date in my signature, but won't be changing this when I have to buy stuff I actually need (last month that was foundation for me, and this month I will need toothpaste I suspect - however I bought deodorant for a good part of the year on special offer back in November, so if I was tempted to go and spend money on a deodorant now "just because..." I would count that as an IN, as it would be something I didn't actually need to buy, IYSWIM?

Agreed. I'm aiming to reduce my regime to a good moisturiser, face wash and 1 other product (toner, serum or mask, not sure which one actually works...).
I'm trying to do this as well - to really find my HG's for these products and then stick with them so far as possible. For me it would be facewash (HG Regenerist warming exfoliating daily wash), moisturiser, eye cream (HG Nivea Visage Natural Radiance eye cream), serum and mask (HG currently Avon Planet Spa, but also love the Sanctuary Spa ones) I think. As I use a wash-off cleanser anyway I don't feel that I need toner as well. I do however usually have several different masks on the go for various different requirements - at the moment it's a peel off and a moisturising - I have a deep cleansing one in the stash but as yet that's not opened.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Here's one from me, if it hasn't already been mentioned - Nivea soft! I discovered this travelling in New Zealand when I ran out of face cream, and it was the only thing I could find that wasn't £30+ It turned out to be a really good face cream, and awesome as a body cream as well. I always have a couple of tubs in stash now for whever I run out of my HG moisturiser (Clinique DD) or BS BButters - for me it really is almost as good as both! And it's sooooo cheap. :A:T
Hmm, I do have a Nivea soft in my stash. I found it too oily for face, but will give it another go and post the results! Looking forward to trying DD in the Glamour offer.
My one HG multi-use product is Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel http://www.aveneusa.com/cleanance-soap-free-gel-cleanser/
It's for oily/combination skin but it's very gentle so that you can use it to wash your eyes (not sure if that's recommended by the manufacturer). It doesn't sting. Therefore, it helps to remove the most of eye make-up - you still need to use a make-up remover, but just one little splash. Avene gel costs £8 but the bottle is extremely economical. I had it for 3 months and used one quarter.0 -

I am listing my essentials - toothbrush/paste, deo etc but not including them in my 'naughty' spends unless - like EH - I go ridiculously OTT. I do need to buy deo today (thanks for the reminder) and as long as I just buy the one (or 2 if on BOGOF
) I won't count it. However - should I go mad and buy a carrier bag full I will come here and confess and add it to my total spends
One of the things I love about this thread is the non-judgement of others similarly inflicted :T Yes we take it seriously but we don't take it seriously IYKWIM? And nobody 'has-a-go' when somebody has a stash top-up session or shares a link to a bargain
Much nicer than some threads where you're shot down for breathing
Anyhoo - no UU's yet for me today and one 'oh b*gger I forgot about that IN' (although it hasn't arrived yet).
I completely forgot I had bid on a P&P Serum on eBay about a week agoTBH I think I'd dismissed it because of the prices they'd been going for and didn't think I'd win with my meagre offer
So I have a 30ml bottle on its way - bought and delivered for under a tenner :T
Hopefully that will be my only 'falling off the wagon' moment for Feb
:cool:0 -
Actually - quick question for those including how much they have spend in their sigs.
Do you include things bought with points? for example mine is £45  but approx £20 of that was points/gift card spends.

I'm thinking that I should buy some eye make up remover as I have got into the awful habit of just using make up wipes and being lazy, instead of just using them after a night out and now I'm left with bottles of cleanser. Is toner actually worth bothering with?
I tried a clinique 3 step sample toner that a friend gave to me but it just smelt like alcohol and I was sticking paint stripper on my face, not nice.
In the shower, I alternate between the S&G Scrub Your Nose and an Olay cleanser but need to use up all the other ones I've accumalated before trying the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish:D
I do use toner when using cream cleansers, but not with OCM or wash-off/foaming cleansers in the shower. I have tried Clinique 3 Step, the best clarifying lotion is definitely the 'Mild' (no alcohol at all). I love it. The others are very harsh!!!You could return these? You know they'll be on offer somewhere when you need to replace and you'll be able to get the one you actually wanted?
Yes, that's what I do. I like to think my hands are getting the benefit of the exfoliator too then. You also don't get lots of beads stuck in your puff (no euphamism!). ROTFL :rotfl:
I think it was me who recommended it to you Tara. My tube has been open since the summer. I had a sample tube from the Christmas GWP which is what made me buy it. It has got until next Monday to dramatically improve and impress me or I will be returning them (one at a time obviously). Including the half used one that I currently have . I don't want a product that suddenly stops working half way through using it. Why would I? - can you return half-used stuff to Boots?
I never did go and look in my stash drawer for another lotion, I was looking on ebay as I had a message from someone asking about a bed so I started looking on there. I saw a dress that I have 2 of in my wardrobe and it's listed at £49.99 BIN. I have bookmarked it and will be listing mine as soon as I'm free. Does anyone else think that French Connection seems to hold its price better when it's worn and in good condition rather than being new with tags but a few seasons old? Funny that isn't it?
I need to get more than £15 for the NWT dress. I'm going to list it on my works intranet tomorrow night to see if I can sell it here first. Fingers crossed for me!
My replies are in red (can't multiquote a single post, sorry).

I've had one BB go off that was only a few months old - but I had left it beside a radiator...
It was probably a couple of years old tbh! I'm going to have to go through the stash and throw out anything that smells funny. I don't want the new nice stuff to go off too. Ooh, good excuse to use things up!Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -

And me! I have a couple of those FCUK gwps in my gift pile which may well slide across to my stash
Few use ups for Feb already!
Charlie Touch body spray
s&g shampoo
chilli pepper body wash
Probably wouldn't buy any of this again, although I did like the shampoo it seems expensiv for what it is, and there's some much nicer ones out there!
Off to take some stash pics now so will be back in a bit :cool:I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

I forgot why I came on here!!! I have a confession to make
I couldn't resist the P&P Intense body serum offer! With TCB and points it works out well, and I bought something to take it over £60 so I got 10% off so it was really £21.60 for 3! I'll return the other item (a hairdryer) and keep the serums.
