Actually - quick question for those including how much they have spend in their sigs.
Do you include things bought with points? for example mine is £45  but approx £20 of that was points/gift card spends.
I'm intending to not include anything that is completely free of charge - so, for example, the Olay samples so many of us have dropping through the letterbox at the moment, or something gained free of charge via me using "creative ordering" when placing my Avon order for customers. If it was an essential paid for using points of vouchers, then still no, but if it was a frippery bought that way I think I would declare it if, in real terms, I was parting with cash or a direct equivalent (ie advantage points) for it. So in for this month! Have had a sort out and i have masses!! All the little not really bothered about bits I have put in a box for my mum and I to share (and hopefully use up quicker!) then I can get some nicer products once everything in my stash has been used up.
Don't think I'm not grateful for gifts but told all my friends no smellies/perfumes etc for xmas as I have mountains, it will go off before i use it, so what did i get about 10 gift things or smellies and perfumes!
Did a mass shop at Costco of vital beauty bits tampons, deo, toothpaste etc so shouldn't have to buy anything for the next 6 months i hope. My only spend might be shampoo/conditioner.
When it comes to products going off there is normally a little circle/square with a number like 6, 12 24 which is how many months the product should be used up in. Its on all beauty stuff/make up perfumes etc. I'm guessing if it hasnt been opened and got air to it, it will last longer xxSealed Pot Challenge - 1264:jGetting Married 27th April 2013:j0 -

I have a Body Shop Vanilla body spray that's over 8 years old and it smells (and feels) fine. It's currently being used up under PRCP, as I do love it.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would include it as an IN but only include in the sig the amount you have actually spent in cash. Sometimes I do online surveys and if they do not have the option of paypal then I might ask for a voucher.
Last week I used a £10 voucher in B**ts for hair dye but I have not counted that as a cost. I only add what I have paid with cash. Same with gift cards, I mean if somebody gives me as a present a £50 gift card instead of toiletries for £50, I would not count whatever I buy with the gift card, since it is a present.
I only add what I personally spend from my purse, which is for me a realistic way to know if I am spending too much from my salary. Anything else (gifts, vouchers, points...) I do not count. If you were going to buy it in the sales you would not put the first initial RRP but what you have paid, so I consider points to be a personallized discount

Oooh goodie because I've got Body shop stuff in my stash - I know they try and make out it's all 'natural' blah but I reckon it's full of things to make it keep for longer. Bit like Lush 'oh we're so natural' with our sell by dates, but it's still full of Sodium Laurel Sulphate (and yes I do still love Lush) and I've used stuff waaaaaay past the use by date.Don't think I'm not grateful for gifts but told all my friends no smellies/perfumes etc for xmas as I have mountains, it will go off before i use it, so what did i get about 10 gift things or smellies and perfumes!
PPink - I had a present amnesty with some of my friends this year. Worked well except I forgot that during the year I had been hoarding stuff for their presents that I now don't know what to do with! JulieBunny

Oh dear - that may be a problem because with the nice body butters in my stash, I like to take the lid off and sniff/test them whilst I am still using up my older (also nice but not new and exciting) ones...!!! :rotfl::rotfl:How sad am I!!:pLess stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Just having a nosey round the site, and sent off for a couple of freebies (i'm collecting them ready for when my B**ts Botanics face moisturiser has gone, as i'm ready for a change!)
Bit fed up today, so OH bought me a magazine for this afternoon :A you guessed it, he's got me 'Glamour'.... i've not looked at it before, so can feel a nice bath coming on, can do my nails and have a look through it..... i'm getting excited :rotfl::rotfl:

Well I did go to boots last night to but the S&G exfoliator AND - thast all!! Am so pleased with myself for resisting the 3 for 2! Also I used the scrub last night and loved it!his
Is that the body or facial scrub? I've started using Scrub Your Nose in It which I like but when wandering through Boots the other day saw that S&G sell three different facial exfoliators. I was wondering what the difference was.Does anyone who uses a body puff also use body scrubs as well. I've thought about putting my shower gel in one of my liquid soap pump bottles and using a body puff I've got but also have body scrubs to use up as well and didn't want to scrub my skin too much.Lemon_Tree wrote: »i use my puff when i use shower gel only, when i use my body scrub i just use my hands.
HTH
Same here.
One UU for me today; 50ml tub of Boots Extracts Fairtrade Mango Body Butter WIBA? Not sure. It smells divine, is very creamy and keeps my skin very moisturised however this pot only lasted for 4 applications! (and I'm not that big honest) so I'm wondering whether it's good value or not. Maybe will repurchase when I get through my mountain of lotions and butters.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
