Glad you have got some retail therapy lined up. You deserve it.

So now that you have used up your reward, are you still going to shop at Harrods.....you know they still sell animal furs..:(:(:(..I would never give them a penny of my money. My pets are so precious....sorry to lecture I know everyone has their own free will but i feel so strongly about this. I try to use cruelty free products and Ecover cleaning etc - I know there are issues with BS parent company overseas and baby milk products but animals are my thang and I see so much cruelty to them.

I don't shop there regularly, and I never knew about them selling animal furs if I'm honest. I've never worn fur & never would, but hun don't worry about voicing what you feel; we all have our beliefs and ethics. I can't promise, as I don't 'do' promises (taught that you never know when circumstances might break one). I'll try though & I'll keep it in mind next time I think about going there. x

My splutterer is an Avon body polish/shower gel. I've had it so long in cupboard, opened it a few months ago. The plastic of the bottle is really tough, so it's virtually impossible to squeeze it out - but I can see it in there taunting me :( I think it might have to be binned. I was using all my strength yesterday, and only got a few drops out!

I know what you mean about the avon shower gels - I usually stand them upside down when almost empty and let the gel drain to the top, so I get most of it out. :)

Failing that - fill the sink with some warm water - squeeze the bottle, dunk it in and let the bottle suck some water in. Give it a quick shake and use asap while still warm. You could use it cold - but omg its a shock!!!!

Well this year I set my set my self the challenging of using up the masses of beauty samples that I have collected. So far I have not had the need to buy any body lotions or facial skincare products and along the way have tried heaps of products that I wouldnt have given a second look too.Ive nearly finished using them up (there were around 200 individual tubes and sachets!)

Ok - I gave in.....and I was doing so well too with no spends this month.........I have succumbed to the BS offer - although in my defence I have a couple of birthdays coming up so they're now getting BS presents :D

Also got a couple of UU's but only the Tresemme blonde shampoo and Dove pro-age SG that have been spluttering for over a week. Would probs buy both again although not until approx 2015 when I've used the rest of my stash up :D:D:D

I'm off to update my sig x

(Decided not to include the £12 BS spend in my sig as I will genuinely use it for presents - honest Guv;))
:naughty: Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies
  • One In - my L'Occitane soap has arrived! I got the rose one and it smells amazing! Also two sample sachets but they are miniscule ins just a splutter really :-)
  • I'm so tempted to buy another BS voucher, it just seems a too good deal to miss as I use some of their stuff anyway and quite want to try their banana shampoo and conditioner.

Although I have to be put on the naughty step, I was in Tesco and walked past the 21p wipes and 5 packs managed to slip into my basket, one lady next to me, put 30 in her basket, you'd have to use them everyday for the next 2 years!

I was so close to telling her about this thread.

Here's what I posted off to BeautyBay:
    1 Mitchum anti-perspirant - think it was shower-fresh.
1 bottle of Radox Stress Relief bath soak
1 sm bottle Boots lavender bath gel
    1 hotel bath gel
100 g Tesco magnolia bath salts
    300ml Elvive conditioner
100ml Wilko toothpaste for sensitive teeth
2x pound shop hair dyes - dark brown and auburn
Great to see others joining in - look what you started, Yorkielass!

Well that is my Clinique Take the Day off UU. WIBA? Maybe as it is very good at removing my glamourous night time look lipstick ;). I love my chanel lotus rouge lipstick and matching lip gloss which is murder to get off at the end of the night. This does the trick really well. I do feel that it is rather excessive to buy this just for that reason though so maybe a GWP offer would tempt me :D

£2 in the pot and I have already opened my last "old stash" item for eye make up remover. I was tempted to open the L'Oreal one that I got based on the recommendations here but I have stayed strong and I am UU the older items first (well mostly) :o.

Off to update sig so have a good evening ladies.

Wow -200:eek: that is alot of sachets -anything in there you would buy the full size of?
One In - my L'Occitane soap has arrived! I got the rose one and it smells amazing! Also two sample sachets but they are miniscule ins just a splutter really :-)

Mine came today aswell (although the soap is for the gift drawer). I got the new rose jardin delice hand gel sachet (very nice and would buy full size WBFS, although not at £13.00 for 75ml) and the new plum blossom body lotion sachet. I was excited about trying this as I love their cherry blossom and they also did a peach blossom a few years ago but was disappointed with the plum blossom the fragrance was barely noticable and so won't be buying it full size!:( Might just get the plum blossom shower exfoliator in a travel size instead (when it comes up on ebay or special offer).;)

One UU. :j Neal's Yard Remedies Mint and Bergamot Hand Lotion 200ml WIBA - not for ages and this one was a gift anyway. I liked it but used it as a body lotion really. It came out well in the green beauty bible book and it is lovely to use but I fancy a change now. Decanted the Arran Aromatics Grapefruit Body Lotion into the empty Neal's Yard blue pump dispenser bottle and will try and use this up as it only has a 6 month shelf life when opened and I know it has been opened maybe 9 months already.

Well done to everybody doing the giveandmakeup boxes -a worthy cause and reducing stashes at the same time:T.
    Welcome ksb76 and madwife28 :hello::hello:
  • Evening ladies

I am here to confess to 1 BS voucher bought yesterday, er, no excuses about presents, it's all for me!! And no, I don't actually need anything from the BS yet. It is my bday in April so the LYB card will come in handy very soon!

Also got my Avon stuff today, I ordered a toner which I do actually need so not counting as an in. And a moisturising serum which was only £2.50 in the clearance book so who could resist? :embarasse

These are my first ins for February, I was so close to making it with no ins for a whole month!

    xx
