Hi guys, I think all your supportive vibes wafted that way, as I received an email from him telling me it was the hardest decision he'd had to make, and I didn't know what I did, and still do, mean to him. He said that he just didn't have the guts to say goodbye to me
And a few other things. I wrote back that I hope he realised soon that his decision was the wrong one. (Well, it was more like a paragraph saying he that he was totally wrong).
I just can't say thanks enough for all your kind support, and the dodgy hugs with the innocent intentions :rotfl:They really put a huge smile on my face
Anyway, I will notify you all in advance that I have a day off. And I'm going shopping for some goodies, but a I joined so close to the end of the month, does it count :A?
Welcome to madwife, I can seriously vouch for the ladies here, I only came along a few days ago, but it feels like I've known them for ages (though it could be from the b**ts threads), and they've been unbelievably welcoming :T
You are all a wonderful bunch, and all deserve to buy an extra treat for yourselves for helping me

Thank you to all who posted about the BeautyBuys Give and Make Up labels - my email with printable label has just arrived! :j They are saying they have had a great response. :j:j:j
I've just printed mine out and will be attaching it shortly. As soon as I've posted it I will be able to list the "outs" - I think they will class as 're-homeds' - that are in it.:D
I noticed on the blog that one of the particular wants was for hair dye so that victims of violence can change their appearance. I had two poundshop dyes that I initially wasn't going to put in but that made me change my mind.
Here's the link to Give and Make Up for anyone that missed ithttp://www.giveandmakeup.com/Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hugs and love to Sawan, and :hello: to newbies, including our MSE babies:)
I've just had a Gok shower. OMG, its lush!!!! I smell good enough to eat :rotfl:;):p:D and the butter (Deluxe one) is lovely and rich and has done a lovely job on my poor legs :j
I agree about the Gok body butter its lovely, wish you could buy it on its own. I sold my gold one on ebay because of the sparkle and wanted to replace it with the deluxe one but they are going to high for me on ebay:(The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Can I join in too - have been lurking for a few months, although I have to say that whilst I have been concentrating on using up stuff, you have also been inspiring me with new ideas too, so not all good!!
Thanks also for the post about Give and Makeup - just requested the label. That is such a great idea, and was what prompted me to finally join you - you really are a great group of girls!!0 -
thanks for the link mc - I wondered what these posts referred to.
I recently gave some toiletries to a local-ish woman's refuge but it wasn't easy.
This seems easy and inspires me to get rid of some more of my stash.0 -
Couple of in's for me yesterday, L'oreal sensitive eye make up remover £2 in tesco, don't think this was an offer but is still cheaper than other places, also radox shower smoothies are half price in tesco, just bought one and felt justified as I've wanted to try one for ages. They didn't have any of the face wipes for 21p that I could see, did get some baby wipes for 18p for wiping up after the dog, cheaper than plenty at that price.

Okay so just now I was, erm, browsing? On the boots website...
Don't worry! I never buy my toiletries online, I get tempted too easy and would go out of control, I just write lists and take them to my tiny local boots store where they have nothing, so all is good. :rotfl:
I was looking up how much the new nivea moisturiser that I wanted was because my olay one is starting to splutter a bit, but then something bad happened!
On the website they were advertising a massive 3-4-2 on all skincare :eek::eek:
Then I remembered that I want to try the Good Things Fresh Start Cleanser, Botanics Moisturising Face Wash and the nivea rich moisturiser!
Luckly the 3-4-2 isn't working though!
This month has been good for me though, I haven't bought anything unnecessarily. Can I be forgiven for this slip up?

Thank you so much for your welcomes, feels like I have been wrapped up in a snuggly duvet with so much warmth from you all!!
Welcome ksb76, yay!
Well, my S&G body butter is on it's final legs (2 more in stash), not organised to post a list of everything I confess to own!
My march goal is to only use BS voucher for new things to try
(ooh - Glamour mag eh?)
