This offer is only open until March 1st, and I have my shoebox all packed up and wanting to travel - I'm looking forward to seeing it go, even if I can't buy anything to replace it.
Yes I have and I notice they will accept lightly used items in good condition ("things you would be happy to pass on to a friend") , which is great because these are the things that really would be wasted otherwise as they can't be donated to a charity shop. Am going to have a rummage through the "forgotten" part of DD's stash stuffed in her wardrobe, when she's at work too!! (Heh heh, evil mother!) Won't be giving it away without checking with her though, not that evil
Sawan, echoing what the ladies have already said. Hugs from over here too xx
Hello to the new mad lady too!! There will be a new regime on this thread in March, I gather. Don't take too much notice of what you've seen this month. February has been a bit of an aberration, hasn't it girls?0 -

Hugs and love to Sawan, and :hello: to newbies, including our MSE babies:)
I've just had a Gok shower. OMG, its lush!!!! I smell good enough to eat :rotfl:;):p:D and the butter (Deluxe one) is lovely and rich and has done a lovely job on my poor legs :j0 -
Sawan (((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))Hello there  another wayward newbie to join in if that's OK?
I know it's late in the month but have slunk in from the grabbit board after purchasing the BS offer and realising I am out of control and cannot say NO!! (especially after someone broke my resolve-you know who you are!!)
I feel I am in the right place as I have to admit to being a secret lurker since January! (Been too scared to post) You are so supportive of everyone's achievements, share in their sorrows and are gently chiding when someone falls of the wagon!! I would love to see the length of the naughty step!:D
So make room on there - I'm a coming and I've got a big b*m!
Hiya madwifeI'm the same, most of my stash is the same thing but just a different fragrance. I was terrible at buying something out the Avon catalogue just because it was new. Unfortunately new things came out quicker than I could use them up :rotfl:
Although I am still a bit like that I now ask myself whether I would really like it and not just buying it because its new and a different fragrance. This has helped even though I'm buying stuff I don't really need.
I think it's an acomplishment in that before I used to buy from Avon every campaign but since my order on 15th February the last time I ordered anything was 23rd October, so despite the huge stash I'm hoping I'm heading in the right direction
I reckon that's what my problem is/was too!Yes I have and I notice they will accept lightly used items in good condition ("things you would be happy to pass on to a friend") , which is great because these are the things that really would be wasted otherwise as they can't be donated to a charity shop. You'd be amazed what I've seen in charity shops - some are just urgghhhhh - like half empty bottles of shampoo and used lip glosses, eye shadows etc _pale_
Someone mentioned subscribing to this post - is that doable? if so, how?????XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

*hangs head in shame and nods* I will try to be good in March, although I can't be held responsible for how many Glamour mags I buyBut technically I am buying a 'magazine' aren't I?!

I've seen some pretty icky stuff in charity shops too! However, the still a damn fcuk toiletry bag in the Red Cross shop down the road, it keeps taunting meand has now been joined by a lovely looking Gok set too
I love GOk stuff
However, they are priced at £5.95 and £10.95 respectively...I think that's expensive for a charity shop!!!! Much as I like to support them!!!!

UU: Herbal Essences Balance shampoo. WIBA? It seems fine as I'm only washing my hair twice a week now and my hair stays relatively ungreasy (with the help of dry shampoo in between!) but I've got so many shampoos in the stash, it'd be a while before I got round to buying it again!ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

Actually you're right, I've seen someoutrageous stuff too, just that I'd never contemplate buying anything part-used from there.
Was in one yesterday and have noticed previously the mixed basket of cr*ppy toiletries they have is always on a table right up against a boiling hot radiator and some of the stuff on that side of the basket is actually warm. Anyway, couldn't help myself yesterday and very politely and discretely mentioned to the volunteer that this stuff can go off and maybe it was better away from the radiator just in case. She gave me one of "those" looks and moved the basket about 1 cm forward, then went off back to the till to tell her friend. Oh well, I tried!
I imagine (hope) our part-used donated stuff will be checked before giving out.0 -

I'll be applying this exact same logic on the 3rd of March too!:D**whispers** Why? What's with Glamour mag?
It's their 10th anniversary and they're giving away a whole host of clinique freebies with the mag (only one per mag so *ahem* may buy lots of copies for 'friends';))0
