re subscription altho I am subscribed I don't get emails on this thread tho I do from the clothes one!
just had the computer switch itself off and when it came back on had wiped my sign in info here so had to change password :(
  • hiya newbies!! :hello: welcome!!
i was thwarted this morning...I went to use the last of the intensive hair conditioner up as it lasts forever and there is still enough for at least 1 more application!!! and the same for my body butter - i've been so busy lately i have been neglecting putting any on, (please tell me off) and I went to put on some on my face as run out of moisturiser and like someone said earlier, i see no difference between moisturiser for one part and for another (unless its in my stash which none is :rotfl: ) and it was taunting me, to say "there is enough for one application but i'll be sitting around for aaaaages". Sorry for my random rhumble it's just annoying!! I thought I would announce 2 UU and nothing!

I will be tempted later on, I have to bank a cheque for work, and in order to do that I have to park in the town centre, and may as well go to gregg's to get some lunch :rotfl: so will be passing B**ts, SD, Bodycare, Poundland (okay if I'm there I will be making a detour :rotfl: but I have avoided the town in months!! Think this will change as I'll be spending more time than not in there at the agencies next week ) and may venture in to look at the shiny new things!

    have a good day xx

Can I join in too - have been lurking for a few months, although I have to say that whilst I have been concentrating on using up stuff, you have also been inspiring me with new ideas too, so not all good!!

Thanks also for the post about Give and Makeup - just requested the label. That is such a great idea, and was what prompted me to finally join you - you really are a great group of girls!!

    LOL - that's true! :rotfl:Hiya and welcome :D

Couple of in's for me yesterday, L'oreal sensitive eye make up remover £2 in tesco, don't think this was an offer but is still cheaper than other places, also radox shower smoothies are half price in tesco, just bought one and felt justified as I've wanted to try one for ages. They didn't have any of the face wipes for 21p that I could see, did get some baby wipes for 18p for wiping up after the dog, cheaper than plenty at that price.

    Welcome to madwife:D

ooooh - looks like I might have to go to Tesco soon! Babywipes are used for all sorts here - apart from on babies.

  • I've got to get back into using my body butters, I had about three weeks where I was really good and then when I decided to work on my Palmer's rather than opening new stuff it seemed to go downhill. But I will use it after my bath tonight!

I need to go to the naughty step I think as I went to Boots on the way home last night and got some S&G on 3 for 2 - Scrub of Your Life, Heel Genius (subscribing to the rule that I'm on my last foot product so therefore it's to replenish the supply as that's on its way out) and a big Hand Food which was free. But considering that's my first spend this month I don't think it's too bad...

I have also applied for a Glamour survey for a new Veet moisturiser that claims to reduce body hair, so we shall see whether or not I get that.

I'm ashamed to say volume, I have about 400+ products in my stash.

Wow! And I thought mine (which including today's add-ins currently stands at 56 products) was bad!

Sigh... I may not be buying toiletries, but I am certainly becoming an Ebay sadist... I keep bidding on things speculatively, hoping that no-one else will bid, reassuring myself that I won't pay any more than 99p.... and then BAM! a million pounds spent. Damn it.

However, this is todays entertainment because i've picked up a tummy bug, so I can't do anything else! I was meant to be working with my learners, then gym and then a seminar, but now i'm locked up in the house.

I suppose I should utilise this time working out what i'm going to ebay on a free listing day to make room for all these new clothes/shoes/accessories....!

Really glad to see so many have joined in the give and makeup campaign, I'll let the lady who posted about it on Twitter know. The internet is great for sharing information. I haven't got a lot to send as my stash isn't very big anymore but there are a few bits I know I won't use so they can go, I've got some things like waxing strips which I buy every now and again, try one of and then remember why I don't wax more often and then get left with an almost full box of strips so I'm sure they'll be fine to go, and be appreciated.

Other than that I've not bought anything at all this month - been really boring.

    Hi sbh76
Thank you to all who posted about the BeautyBuys Give and Make Up labels - my email with printable label has just arrived! :j They are saying they have had a great response. :j:j:j

I've just printed mine out and will be attaching it shortly. As soon as I've posted it I will be able to list the "outs" - I think they will class as 're-homeds' - that are in it.:D

I noticed on the blog that one of the particular wants was for hair dye so that victims of violence can change their appearance. I had two poundshop dyes that I initially wasn't going to put in but that made me change my mind.

Here's the link to Give and Make Up for anyone that missed ithttp://www.giveandmakeup.com/

I saw this, and was gutted I didn't have any (I get my hair dyed at the hairdressers) but when I was looking through my stuff, I found a big block of Lush henna, so I have sent that...hopefully it will be of some use! I have also sent:

    4 x face wash
    2 x bubble bath
    bag of samples/travel sizes/make up
    razors
    2 x shower gels
    5 x toothbrushes
    some other bits and pieces

Hopefully I've sent things that will be useful!

    Thanks for the link Yorkielass!

Hi guys, I think all your supportive vibes wafted that way, as I received an email from him telling me it was the hardest decision he'd had to make, and I didn't know what I did, and still do, mean to him. He said that he just didn't have the guts to say goodbye to me :( And a few other things. I wrote back that I hope he realised soon that his decision was the wrong one. (Well, it was more like a paragraph saying he that he was totally wrong).

I just can't say thanks enough for all your kind support, and the dodgy hugs with the innocent intentions :rotfl:They really put a huge smile on my face :D

Anyway, I will notify you all in advance that I have a day off. And I'm going shopping for some goodies, but a I joined so close to the end of the month, does it count :A?

No, I say damn well treat yourself after the time you've had recently, you certainly deserve to and I hope your man realises how bad a mistake he's made and everything turns out ok. Hope you have a lovely day off too :)
