Went to Chelmsford store yesterday and they had quite a few things and all neatly arranged in size order. There was a whole aisle of items marked half price which I think the staff were going through and moving and marking down to £1. Managed to get 11 items for £9.50!! This included a handbag, tops, dresses and even a gorgeous pair of beige/brown boots that just happened to be my size. Added up the full cost when got home and would have been £184.50!! Thanks so much for this post. The lady at the till said I was going to look lovely this year....if not cheap!!!! Cheeky!!

fortuntealy for me i'm mrs Average and 14 so there was quite a bit in my size but i just find their tops a bit long. there was plenty 16/18/20 at mine and there was also some things for size 28. good to see they are including everyone!

What a frost! We went to Sainsburys in Arnold, Notts and there were about 4 large T shirts reduced to £1. Other sales items not reduced. Wife had the section manager hauled out only to be told that she was unaware of any promotion.

Moving on... Why do they insist on telling us that something is the same price in Tesco? All that does is make me think that everything else they sell is more expensive than Tesco.

I went into the Wantage sainsburys but all the sale items were marked half price. Took one item to customer services for a price check and it came through at £1!
there were no signs or anything but it was all £1 or less!

Went to Sainsburys at Sixfields Northampton this morning - absolutely nothing, zilch, nada on sale let alone for £1.00!!:(

Coventry Canley had 2 size 20 dresses and 1 pair of size 28 trousers at £1.

Looked very lonely hanging there on the long empty rail I wished was fuller.
