Just back from Sainsbury's Bamber Bridge, Preston. Nothing there apart from a few mismatched bikini tops and bottoms. Did get a skirt that had been reduced to £1 and took a few other items to the till that were marked at half price, but on scanning had not been reduced further. Not a completely wasted journey but had been hoping to pick up a few more bargains!!

hi everyone !!

i went to my local store in wigan this morning - picked up a long black dress, gorgeous pair of sequin high heels and a purple clutch type bag for £2.50!!

to be fair there wasnt much else in "my line" (my mums saying) but they did have lots of tunic style tops, long vests, dresses

i did see some black velvet style pants but they were only in a size 28

overall cost should have been £48 !! - bargain city !! :j

might have to pop along to the warrington store and see whats there - if there is anything left by the morning

Went to my local sainsurys today and the store manager knew nothing about this. Has anyone else had this problem.:(

Folkestone town centre small sainsbury had some £1 and 50 items, got a nightshirt - mostly summery tops in 8 to 14's

Same in the Oldbury, West Mids Branch - a few random bits handmarked down to £1 and everything else still at 50% off Not even the xmas clothing had further reductions.

they still have loads in the cheltenham store and I overheard the TU lady say she was even dreaming of the £1.00 discount stickers in her sleep last night...she still had rails to do! I picked out about 3 items and a pair of slippers not on the £1 racks and all but one were down to a £1.....I need to stop going in now as I'd always fancied tring on a pair of hareem pants and for £1 I couldn't resist buying, taking home trying on and keeping regardless of how they looked and clogging up my wardrobe evem more than it is already for a £1! Mind you, have spent about £20 and bought LOADS!!

aww , after getting all excited about the prospect of grabbing some massive bargains today at the plymouth sainsbury, i have just read that they are not getting involved in the £1 sale , how ever this morning i did pick up two pairs of great jeans and a gorgeous pair of red boots for £11 at the peacocks in torquay if anybody is interested in grabbing a bargain around that area.. ( i drove from plymouth ) but it was worth it:j
