I'm just home from Aberdeen. We went up on Saturday, mayhem at Hillhead! My son is at Mealmarket Exchange through Unite so much quieter. A shaky start, he was VERY nervous about meeting his flatmates. He's discovered there's 3 boys and 2 girls on his floor and all seem nice. Saying goodbye on Sunday afternoon wasnt as bad as expected due to (a) I dropped him off at a bus stop so no public crying just a big hug and (b) he's home in 3 weeks time for an important golf match so doesn't seem too far away.
The house is creepily quiet although I am missing him and feel if anyone says anything nice about him I'll burst into tears!
How are you?
hi! Well I've had about 3 texts in total! Seems there is only one other person in her flat and since she doesn't do nightclubs or drinking, she's feeling very shy and a bit lost, but she'll find her way I guess and likeminded people. Terrible at keeping in touch though, I guess I just have to be there, when she decides she wants/needs to contact me? Just as I was when I left home at 17.
Glad her dad took her though, I wouldn't have felt comfortable just driving away and leaving her
The house is horrible quiet
