Thanks Ladies - your kind words have kept me going today.

Yes CS is a bit like Slim Fast - 2 shakes/soups, 1 proper meal (no cards), and 3 small snacks. Not sure what weight loss is predicted, but I've previoulsy lost up to 5lbs per week on it. I'm doing it this week to use up left over shakes and cos I think I need a bit of a push!

Just about to do my Jillian Michaels DVD and then off spinning later.

    Thanks again xxx

  • Only 1lb weight loss for me, I'm a bit disappointed as I've been really good but a 1lb is a 1lb I suppose. Did my measurements on Saturday and I'v stayed the same everywhere except for my stomach, where I've lost 1.5 inches:)

Congrats to all those who have lost or STS. It's only the 1st weigh in we've got a few more to go.

    Well done losers!

This week should be a bit easier for me (excepting the do on Saturday!). Dd is away til Friday, so I am home alone!

Haven't been shopping for a while so all her "munchies" are gone from the cupboard and fridge.....in fact the fridge is quite sparse , which is helpful! Took a piece of lamb fillet from eh freezer which will do 2 nights, once pan fried with salad, then in some kind of stewy thing.

The fruit bowl is quite depleted too bar some kiwis, but being quite an opportunist eater, an overflowing fruit bowl is an invitation to eat constantly too :o I have some Sainsbury's Basics berries in the freezer, they are only99p and I have them with yougurt as a pud.

The main thing I need to avoid is the big pack of Fruit and Fibre in the cupboard which tempts me sometimes and I always pour a massive bowl...........30g servings , I wish! Think I might put it in DD's wardrobe til friday, out of sight out of mind!

Since DD is not here to chat to, I am also by-passing the lounge when I get in from work late on and taking my cup of tea straight upstairs. Have my shower etc, then sit and read drink tea in bed. Lingering in the lounge like I usually do, inevitably leads to later nights and wandering in the kitchen to graze.

All in all, after messing around during Dec and Jan, my head seems to be in the right place atm!

When/what are your opportunistic-eating triggers and what can you do to head them off?

I am quite a muncher when I first get home from work, Bronnie. :o Yesterday evening, OH had bought a packet of chocolate biscuits and I ate (am so ashamed to say this) eight of them. I felt a bit ill afterwards and only ate a tiny bit of dinner. But even so, the damage was done. :(:(:(

I have a personal training session tonight (Groupon again :) ) so hope that goes well. I need to make up for last night…
