  • G'Day from Down Under.

Well TFI Friday, let the weekend begin! So I've even though I've not been posting, I've been thinking of you lot and sending positive mental vibes across the seas.

Friday has become my WI day - as in Fin Friday (a la "thin" but said as if I'm a bit fick) rather than Fat Friday........ Last week I weighed in at 10st 0.8lbs and today was exactly the same. I should be pleased really as I've overdone it with cake and bad stuff this week. Like others have said, I'm getting to grips with the exercise, it's now the food that I need to control.

I've downloaded the MapMyFitness app on my iphone and I'm also doing the 100 push-up challenge (http://hundredpushups.com/) so this coming week I am going to be more dedicated to the cause and get in the habit of logging my food.

    My Feb results so far:

    Weight loss - 0lbs
Walking to and from work - 8/20
    Run - 1/4
    Swim - 1/4
    Yoga - 1/4
    Body Pump - 1/4

Hmm, we're almost half way through the month - focus Monkey focus.

Good luck and have a fab weekend :)

Reporting in with my first weigh in.......... 3lb off!:D

Bit worried that my old fashioned dial scales aren't accurate so might not be totally correct, but can notice a bit of a difference already so it must be a loss of some sort

    Hi ladies

Monkey, well done on the exercise this week!

My intentions on that front have come to nought again this week :o and since I'm paying for gym memebership that's pretty dumb really. My failing is in getting myself moving in the morning early enough to get to class. Although even a treadmill session would help. Ahem.

Cat well done 3lb is great going!

My scales are moving downwards this week too, despite no exercise......so a bit more effort next week could really make a difference.

Today and tomorrow, I have some leftover meal replacement soups and shakes I'm going to use in an attempt to flatten my tummy a teeny bit before my do tomorrow night. I could kick myself as I am feeling quite displeased with how I look. I have a lovely dress and without the extra middle-aged spread I put on round my tummy over the winter would be feeling comfortable; as it is I feel like a sausage stuffed in it's skin. BOO!

However, this is really is teaching me a good lesson in reminding me why I want to stick with this challenge and is helping me focus.

    Have a good day all!

I know exactly what you mean about the exercise, I feel I need it to lose weight and for the first time ever I am actually enjoying it!

Good luck with Curves and your PT session :T

Thanks Vixi! I have been to Curves a total of 9 times since 26 Jan, this evening will be the 10th time. I am really enjoying it. I really can't wait for my personal training session tomorrow, am feeling very energetic atm. :) I'm eating a bit better, still too much though (I really need to get a grip on my appetite). I'm so hoping for a loss at Monday's WI!!!

Three weeks till hols, the pressure is really on now! I'm going to try to step things up a gear with eating and exercise, especially all the sugary crap I've been consuming.

Well done on the scales Bronnie! :j

You work evenings mostly don't you? (or did I get that wrong) It's hard to get to the gym before work, I find - too many other things to do and then by the time you're ready it'd be too rushed so you end up just not going. But you know you can do it! Come on girl!

Good luck foodwise today and tomorrow and *enjoy* your night out, you will be fab! Use it as extra motivation too xoxoxo

Dragon - yay for the almost two stone mark (although, shamefully, I can't take any of the credit :( ).

Blue Monkey, you are doing so well, very impressive! xoxo

I feel your pain! But we *can* do it. :T At least you're exercising, it'd be worse if you weren't!

Just had a tasty Burgen bread tuna sandwich for lunch with some low fat Greek yogurt, should see me through my Curves class. :D

That's what I keep thinking, thing is I can either eat well or exercise, I can't seem to manage the two :o

Think I'll be aching tomorrow though!
