1lb loss for me this week. Not too bad as I've had a bit of a mixed week!

Wow - what a lovely bunch you all are
Thanks for all the words of encouragement, it's really motivating!newbeginning wrote: »The last two days I've done so well with the exercise, but not so good with the eating. Seems I can't combine the two
newbeginning wrote: »That's what I keep thinking, thing is I can either eat well or exercise, I can't seem to manage the two
Think I'll be aching tomorrow though!
I'm exactly the same... Just don't have any willpower and seem to think I'm still my skinny-17-year-old-self who could shove anything and everything in her gob without putting on a pound....
Today I had a massive fat lunch - chicken breast smothered in bearnaise sauce with half an avocado and chips. However, on the plus side that was pretty late (about 4.30pm) and I will probably just have a banana for dinner.
I'm actually thinking of taking a photo of myself in the nude and looking at that every time I want something bad
! That should put me off! Sometimes at lunchtime at work I pop into clothes shops and try stuff on, seeing how horrid stuff looks on me at the moment is enough encouragement to have a salad rather than a huge baguette with cheese and may .
Will try to use the calorie counter in mapmyfitness.com from tomorrow...
Keep strong ladies, it will be worth it! xxx0 -
Morning ladies!
Weekly weigh in today and a further one and a half pounds loss. :T
Need to pledge 3 half hour exercise sessions this week. I said it last week and didn't do any
Would help, I know!
More home-made soup over the weekend, finding it a good help to have as my supper meal and it's very low cal, healthy and cheap. Made celery yesterday, now what do I fancy next time? Will have a look at the posh soups on Sainsbury's website for inspiration.
Good luck ladies!0 -

OH tried to cheer me up about it but I can't cheer up. I have been busting a gut the last 3 weeks, is it too much to ask to lose one measly pound? Well done on the loss Bronnie :j
And big hugs to Tara and Dragon x0 -
WI this morning and I put on 1lb:mad: when I weighed myself last Friday I had lost 2lb so managed to put that on +1 over the weekend. I tend to do most of my exercise over the weekend so I think my gain is related to that, it can't be anything to do with curry, chips, wine and chocolate at the weekend:o:o:o
Hugs to Dragon and Tara, keep going it will work and don't forget you may well be losing inches.
Bad week ahead for me, nice meal tonight and wine for valentines, birthday on Friday so curry, wine etc. Family lunch on Sunday and birthday cake. Think I'll be looking at added about 5lb for my next weigh in:eek:0 -

Thanks for the kind words ladies, you are very good. Massive congrats to the losers (sorry, forgot to say that in my miserable wallowing post earlier!). You are all super xoxoxo. I am determined to get back on track (mind you, I haven't had too good day today foodwise - definite comfort eating, but I am going to burn it off!).
Must check out those books, thanks bluebellbunny
