Tell me about the donut **drools** :rotfl:

....haven't had a donut for years! Used to buy the bags of 6 sugary jammy ones from tesco when they whoopsied, ostensibly for the kids, then give them a quick nuke in the microwave the next day to freshen them up, all sugary with hot jam, ah those were the bad old days!

Anyway, tempted to divert for some wine on the way home from work, but managed to resist and am making do with copious tea and the wine yearning has passed now :A

Someone bought some custard donuts at work. I like custard donuts. Then we played that game where you see if you can eat it without licking your lips. I could.

Just read this, nothing we probably don't already know, but sometimes it's helpful to reread this stuff to keep focussed.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-1352558/Core-Balance-Diet-20-simple-ways-lose-stubborn-extra-weight.html

Think I'll do some soups next week actually. I freeze them in 500ml takeaway containers and they're very handy for me as my meal when I get home late from work, when I have a weakness for the crackers and cheese, big bowls of cereal etc

Oh, don't be too hard on yourself juno. I've had a bag of Maltesers and a Baileys, but have been ok apart from that, and haven't gone on to sabotage the whoe day because of it. I mean, stopping at 3 chips is a good thing!!! :T And we will get back on track tomorrow, happy that we didn't just write off today with a big binge when we realised we'd slipped up.

Thanks for the article Bronnie - keep 'em coming! I always like to read weight loss/exercise articles, they're great for motivation. I will post them here if you want, and would love to read everyone else's! :j

    Wow, pinkflamingo that's seriously impressive!

Any tips for us mere mortals?:D

I lost most of it a few years ago (splitting up with ex H after 20 years helped) complete change in diet and once I had lost about a stone I joined the local Rosemary Conley class and carried on from there healthy eating as opposed to dieting. What they didn't tell me was that I needed to drink lots of water (helps with the elasticity of the skin) and excersize more. So I was left with excess skin & saggy boobs (all sorted now :)) so be careful.

    Godd luck
