I'm feeling a bit blah! I feel like my metabolism must be so b*ggered up, I feel like I'm on a diet, just to maintain. can't seem to lose anything atm, the odd couple of pounds seem to go off and on so it's obviously just water. GRRR! What to do? Need to get back to the gym and get things speeded up, I know!

Today I had 3 eggs scrambled for a late brekkie. That really keeps me going. Had a couple of brazil nuts, well 4 actually, a banana and some mixed berries for lunch. Will be ok now til I get the munchies around 6ish at work (depending on how busy I am whether I'll notice or not), got a leftover meal replacement soup, I'll have then and a smallish tuna salad after work.

The posh frock went back  Too much flabby arm on show.
Shout it loud "IT'S MY OWN FAULT!"

    Deep sigh!

Found another one by the same designer which is very elegant and flattering looking but will have to order online to try on again as it's not available in the smaller House of Fraser stores.

I just had the salad sandwich for lunch, the cup-a-soup was a bit tasteless so I decided to chuck it down the sink rather than watefully consume 106 calories just for the sake of it. :) I'm having a nice jasmine tea now instead.

Oh :( shame about the dress. But it's money saved, and you will hopefully end up with an even better one!!!! :)

You're doing really well Bronnie, maybe it's the dress that's got you a bit down. I totally know the feeling. If I could compile all my posts on these weight loss threads into a book, there would be plenty of peaks and troughs! I get really disheartened sometimes. But atm I feel good because I know I'm taking action to achieve my goal. We can do it!!!! :D

    :D

:(.......no! I'll end up with a safer, duller choice!

    BOOOOO!

(Thanks for the encouraging words though......I'm so CROSS!)

    This is what I wanted

    http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Anoushka+G+Lexia+metallic+jersey+dress/141862195,default,pd.html

and this is the safe choice

    http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Anoushka+G+Deep+scoop+diamond+long+sleeved+dress/146122273,default,pd.html

and if the 14 doesn't fit in this one, I'll be going in a binbag, cos I'm NOT buying a 16, that's my punishment.

    GRRR!

..........................such a grumpy mood this afternoon:o!
  • I'm not having a good day, hit the alcohol as soon as I got home today. Have a major issue with John Lewis https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/40880454#Comment_40880454 and they driven me to drink. If I don't lose 2lb next week I'll hold JL responsible for that as well.
  • Hi Everyone, can I please join you guys I only have a few pounds to lose (3) but now have a new man in my life and eating out to be sociable so losing 3 pounds will be like pushing an elephant up a hill
