    Someone stole my dinner!

I was in the supermarket, and as I was packing I thought I was one item short. Then as I looked back at the cashier to get my change I realised it was sitting on the conveyor belt behind the divider mixed in with the person behind's shopping  I didn't want to say anything, as it sounds crazy and also the person looked a bit scary. I suppose it's technically not stealinhg if I hadn't paid, but it's still annoying.

How very strange! I do hope you had something else to make dinner with!!

mmm tirimasu *drool* if only someone could invent a diet friendly version

Matt Dawson did one on TV last year IIRC - must check YouTube.

M&S do some dessert things - they're called mocha or latte or something and they're meant to be like the drink. Anyway, the diet version is just as nice as the normal. But they are expensive; they were 2 pots for £2

Must check these out, they sound yum! Expensive though

I am going to walk to work today.

I'm also not going to weigh myself for a while, because I don't want to know. I'm going to base it on how tight my trousers are. I did really well in Murphy's Pie Club and lost 4 stone  and so in my head I'm still 12stone10 but in reality I've gained a bit since then.

The trouser test is always good, and reliable! In fact, I'm starting to think that I should wear trousers more often. I hardly ever wear them and the weight surely wouldn't have crept on me as easily as it has in skirts and dresses (which are so much more forgiving).

Well - I'm off to a bad start - I just ate an entire 8-slice delivered Pizza to myself :o

I've had a bad day though :( and (very MSE) it was totally free as OH's turned up with half the topping inedible and when we complained the customer service was shoddy so we got our money back and kept the pizzas :T

    In fact we're up 1p :p

So I guess what they say is right - look after the pennies and the lbs will look after themselves :rotfl:

Ok day - not done any exercise but signed up to run 10k in June so I will need to get training for that  And have managed to eat well (so far!)

Good for you Shoe Gal! I'm thinking of signing up for something similar, it's good to have a goal to work towards. :A

I have had a pretty good day, have probably eaten slightly too much but I have exercised to offset it! I am walking/cycling to work every day (as usual) and also aiming to go to Curves every day (Mon-Fri). Today's session was shorter than yesterday's, I only did the 30-minute circuit and then 5 minutes on the x-trainer... but it felt good!

Yesterday I did an hour long class. So I'm doing ok with exercise... now I need to get my portion sizes down and fast if I want to see results!! Only 4.5 weeks (31 days) till holidays, yikes!!!! I'm going to try on holiday clothes over the next couple of days to give myself a real shock and spur me on a bit. I need to focus on my goal of getting to the shape I want and not let myself be derailed by food!

I am still reading 'Thin Secrets', it is a really good book, one of the best I've read. It makes so much sense.

Hello to the newbies, welcome all xoxoxo

Would you mind if I join? See my signature down there, I am now 10st 5 so that didn't happen - and I started weight watchers yesterday yet today managed to eat 2 brownies and 2 pecan caramel danish - I feel sick from all that sugar and the brownies weren't even that nice yet I keep eating that crap! What is wrong with me that I just can't say no to that type of food! I really want to sort out my body now and I think I could really do with the support here!

OOOOh montymud I know exactly how you feel, I was soo happy with all my food choices today and as soon as I'd finished congratulating myself on how good I had been, something weird happened to me and I ended up having a bag of crisps and THREE great big shortbread biscuits - GRRRR! I feel so disappointed in myself, WHY CAN I JUST NOT RESIST?!?!?!? The strangest thing is that normally I don't even like crisps or biscuits but as soon as I am not supposed to be eating them I just can't think of anything else....oh the forbidden fruit is always the sweetest
