Think I might need to go and see my Dr, don't think its dementia or anything like that, DH thinks it was an emotional reaction to extreme stress. Dunno, I've managed to gather myself together, I'm not allowed to tell anyone what's wrong, so none of my close friends know anything. So you guys are all I have :(
Been cooking like crazy its the only thing that relaxes me , that and hanging out here for a wee while. I love reading all your posts, and the lovely way you all support each other. Thank you for that.

I tried that with my OH 'ONCE' lol, it was a vegetable curry, he searched through the veg looking for the meat, when he realised there was no meat in it he pushed it around the plate, and left it. Two hours later I looked out the kitchen window and saw him sitting in the garden eating a fish supper . I got the message...
    ' MAN CARNIVORE,MAN EAT MEAT!' :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you have better luck than I had LOL.
    .

i am allergic to a lot of meat and also cant actually eat chew/swallow without being sick the rest!!! so my hubby often goes without meat!! he says he loves me so he doesnt mind!!! but then again i often do a meal such as chicken pots and veg and i just have the pots and veg!

sending big hugs to everyone who needs them! The start to this year seems to be filled with troubles! But we are all here for you!!

I have not been keeping such a great eye on things this month and although i am underbudget still - i know we have spent far too much of that on junk that we dont actually need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its just all been a bit manic with car failure etc and work has been horrendous - and quick junk food from shops is sooo much easier and less stressful when your head is full of other things!

im struggling with my pills this month too - so im feeling very aggitated which does not help - got a review with specialist in march but doubt they are going to change them - these are the best!

Spent £128.20 so far this month
Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!

  • Morning All

Did my shopping for next week spent £14.34. Going to use up what I have. Seem to have so much crammed in the cupboards I can't see what I've got and end up buying duplicate.

    Have a good week end.

  • Morning all. Haven't had a chance to read through the posts I've missed, but well done to all and hugs to those who need them.

Spent 99p on milk last night from the corner shop. Have a Mr T order scheduled for tomorrow. Not a huge one, but mainly for specific items that are difficult to get locally in our small stores. Guide price is £25.42 including delivery, will update my sig when I get the actual order. Will also need a very small fresh fruit and veg top up (mainly bananas and salad greens) since I won't order that online. :)

Hi All updating my sig in mo for this month, been really poorly (again sigh) keep getting sinus infctns and virus's,,anyhow after a week on antibs for sinus and trachea infctn gp prescribed summin stronger,,OH MY I had a bad reaction after taking one,,dizzy sick shaking short of breath,,anyhow lay on bathroom floor for a few hours whilst oh panicked,,I knew it just had to leave my system. Managed to get to bed and felt better by morning, if weak. Oh took day off as i had a chest xray booked for pains i been having. ANyhow gp gave me new antibs and I have gone from strength to strength ;-) Not 100% but so much better.

Huge hugs to all of u who need them, esp for Mothership and Hippiechiq (sp LOL)

Mothership defo go see ur dr hun, I had a couple of similar episodes when my eldest was a baby and really it was due to stress,,mine was me trying to give to everyone, also like most of us trying to 'do everything' the pressure nowadays to be perfect in everthing is huge. I am not saying that is what u are feeling but that I can sypathise ;-)

My grocery challenge has been positive this month so far mainly as been ill this week lol I have used the local bakers, grocers and butchers,,its so simple why didnt i get it before??!!! It has saved me impulse buying, can walk to them but am lazy and drive to the bakery,,easy though and the bread is delicious!
Managed to go to sains yesterday and only buy what was on list!!! Only been there and lidls once this month so far, have mealplanned next weeks dinners and have plans for some baking this weekend as tins been emptied by oh and my 3 kids! Loads to do,,free listing on fleabay this weekend, curry to make tonight and saag aloo,,twinks and cake to make.
    Have a great weekend all!!
