Spent a grand total of £4.32 today, realised I haven't got enough rice for us all with our Korma tonight, so had to go to the shop, picked up some whoopsie veg and some packets of crisps half price, dated till the end of the month.
Really need to stop these 'just popping to the local shop for one thing' trips as they are what's doing the damage this week.
Off to Mr S tomorrow, so going to go over my list with a fine tooth comb to make sure I've got enough to keep us going till hopefully the end of next week0 -

.
Thanks for your kind words, I hope they catch the guy too but I doubt it
Today I had to get some bits in town so spent £3 on milk and two packs of chicken for tea :T Got some chips in the freezer so that will do for tonight ( off meal plan today but it was the robbers fault!)
Got £2 left in my purse for the rest of the week but we shouldn't need anything. Got everything in for the rest of the weeks meals and then I go shopping sunday anyway. May need milk but won't be tempted to buy anything else as won't have cards in my purse. I like how this is working
Good luck everyone#118 DFW Debt freely Christmas 2012 Challenge0 -
Just updated my sig,
Have had quite a few NSD's with being at home with baby.
Had my second tesc*'s delivery of the month at £90.33. A bit higher than I wanted, but got the Inlaws staying this weekend and I've got to make a Trifle for a village charity do.
I don't really like Trifle , so have concocted a chocolate version which I will make tomorrow, with chocolate brownie, fruit, chocolate mousse, a layer of whipped cream and some more chocolate brownie and chocolate buttons on top for decoration. I might be able to force a bit down , just for quality control purposes! Hope it will class as a trifle, maybe I should put some jelly in over the fruit & Brownie?
Also spent £17.33 at 8&M, Bargain of the day, was 4 bottles of morning fresh washing up liquid at 49p each.
So this leaves me with about £75 for rest of the month so will hopefully manage to keep within target. Its a short month after all.

£40.18 spent this week. Sig updated. Nothing exciting to report. I was toying with the idea of doing a freezer inventory, but decided that it can wait until we're a bit further down the freezer.0

Thanks LTS,
I have to have more tests and a CT scan at some point. I feel fine apart from tired which I'm putting down to missing one whole night of sleep (or being awake for two days straight). OH went back to work on Tuesday so hopefully he's all recovered. Thanks very much for your kind thoughts.... I hope they catch the guy too but I doubt it
