Kookgekje - next time your DD is with her Dad treat yourself to something nice - it doesn't have to cost money - do your nails and then go for a walk round a Garden Centre or somewhere local or have a bath with lots of scented candles or do a job in the house that you can't do when your DD is around. I know how hard it is to fill your time when they are not around and how it makes you feel down when someone else is treating them but that feeling does go. Chin up honey

:j thankyou i cant believe it , its the first time ive come under for a while i think0 -
Had to get some milk today - £1.65. I was due to be away this weekend so used more milk earlier in the week, but my trip was cancelled, so I ran out today.
£10.00 over my total but I did buy a few things in bulk this month.
Please can you put me down for £55.00 for March? I think i'll have to accept that prices are going up so I am going to spend more, but if I come in under, even better!
Edit to add...have decided to hopefully go to Bookers this month and get some chicken breasts. It all depends on freezer space though! I have tried using thighs, but I really prefer breast meat so it will save me money buying in bulk (and not cutting half the 'manky' meat away)

Hello & Welcome maid in cornwall
We've got a great bunch of people on here to cheer you on. If you could put the amount you want your budget to be in red like this and large like this it makes it easier for Mrs M (who compiles the list) to see among all the other posts. Good Luck

no name-calling allowed on this thread - not even to yourself
repeat after me 'I'm a smart GC'er', 'I'm a smart GC'er', 'I'm a smart GC'er',... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
