    I'm no young'un. (50+)

But then I've never played or been remotely interested in playing any computer games. :)

Apart from a basic free course at the local college, I'd never been near a computer until I was given an old Win98se one 5 years back.

Same as me mate! I only got into computers as my job at NTL as a service tech meant I had to,my first proper pc was a second hand,ex school Win 95!I did have a Sinclair Spectrum+2 but tbh,it was rarely used!

they are currently working on a modern version of Elite for the PC which is availble for download as an alpha, but theres still rumours of it being multiplayer or singleplayer.

I haven't bothered to read many posts, so I don't know if this has been said or not. Nor do I know if your son was banned for cheating but I thought I would chuck this in here anyways.

Thanks to people cheating on PSN, Activision are going to shut down the servers if people don't stop. Partially due to the amount of sercurity breaches on the PS3 lately, but the amount of people cheating on PSN is obviously causing problems for Activision.

Quite sad, that cheaters ruin the game for people while they're playing it. Now players might have to suffer not being able to play the game online at all.

I am so glad i have an xbox.

There was an art to docking....speed really didn't matter, though slower was easier, just line up form a distance, start trundling towards that opening and add the rotation. Once matched you could go as fast as you liked :) Then...buy a docking computer soon as you could :D

I used to love that game, all running in under 32 kb!.

    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
