I am sorry to hear of your experience regarding Kindle lighted cover. I understand you're disappointed with the fact that some customers originally paid less for their unlighted covers and then got upgraded to lighted ones. Please do not forget that those customers had experienced problems with their Kindles prior to a corporate decision resulting in exchange of the covers.

Thanks for posting this. I was thinking I'd have to return my kindle altogether due to the regular freezing. I'm going to try and get an upgrade now.0

I have just managed to get this too, good job as I was having problems with my kindle freezing, would never have attributed it to the cover.

my kindle has frozen a few times - i would never think it was the cover!! I have emailed them a minute ago. I wonder if I will get the upgrade (I hope so!!)
UPDATE - within an hour I now have on order a £51 cover with light for free! And I can keep my other cover (good as a spare!) . Brilliant customer service thanks Amazon! I hope the kindle does not freeze now!0 -
